Well, now we all know
No she died because she and a few other people broke in to someones home.
This could have happened in any state, good job media and OP for trying to twist this story.
Mod should really rename this thread title to "Stupid bitch, breaks in to house, gets shot."
And before people even start that argument "Well she couldn't have hurt the home owner." There where several of them, easily could gang up and on top of that just because she is a smaller woman does not maker her any less a threat. You learn really quick while working in corrections and in the streets that a deadly person does not have a specific look, build or gender.
also, public place =/= private estate
A++ logic OP, please make more threads in sensationalist headlines about different laws

Or in a dixie cup.
or a 12 pack of colas.
Her life didn't deserve to end that day. Without stand your ground laws she would probably still be alive.
Its stupid to try and perform a home invasion. However, it takes a special kind of stupid to attempt a home invasion where every motherfucker has guns and the skills to use them.
All the article says is that "gunshots erupted" and she died. It's extremely vague as to exactly how she died and who shot her.
oh no
it truly is a tragic day when a pretty girl is killed
it matters not what possibly illicit activities that girl may have been up to that resulted in her death
because she is pretty
and that makes her completely innocent
because i want to motorboat them tig ol' bitties
I like how she was trying to rob the guy and the article tried to portray her as innocent perfect teenage white girl. Damn if she was a cheerleader the guy who shot her would be on death row.

What a beautiful girl she was when she wasn't posing like a douche like in many of the other pictures. Not that that has anything to say, it's just a shame that she wasted her life away pitiful robbery and idiocy like that, and she got what was coming to her eventually.
One of the most sensationalist, skewed titles I've ever seen here. I have no problem with this, the girl organized and took part in a robbery, and had she not done that she wouldn't be dead. It's nobody's fault but her own.

I'm going to regret looking at this.
...
"It's her fault she got shot?!?!? I don't care if she robbed a house or not. Possessions can be replaced, Unfortunatly a life can't."

All the shit ppl talking about claudia saying she deserved to die and that she she tried to rob those ppl need to stfu becuz no of y'all ignorant ass ppl was there and don't know what the fuck happend all that matters is Claudia lost her life she was a person and she had ppl that cared/care about her let her rest in piece those guys are probably just tryna blame it on her bcuz she's dead and can't tell her side of the story .... Rest in peace Claudia all tho there are ignorant ppl claiming you where so kind of lowlife your still a good person in my book ♥ it just brakes my. Heart to see ppl say such cruel things about you
Yep, I regret it.
But while friends took to Facebook to mourn the loss of the stunning young woman, who would have been a senior at Trinity High School this fall, police revealed Hidic had put herself in the line of fire by organizing a robbery that ended in gunshots.
you know this feels like an old 50's heist movie.
the beauty, in her last moments as her robbery has gone horribly wrong, pleads with the gun-owner to end her wicked life so she can be remembered as a dead fugitive from the law, not as an old ugly woman.

Shouldn't have clicked it, too much stupid.
Every five posts, "Possessions can be replaced, life can't." Because that justifies her being a criminal. Life can't be replaced, which is exactly why you shouldn't throw yours away to do something stupid like steal material goods.

No it feels like some moron tried to rob someone and got shot and an article hilariously tried to defend her.

According to this article she might have been accidentally killed by one of her accomplices during a gun battle with people inside the house
Her life didn't deserve to end that day. Without stand your ground laws she would probably still be alive.
Oh please, she knew what she was getting into, she knew the risks, it's her own damn fault and frankly we're better off as a society without people like her breaking into other people's homes intent on stealing from them. And it isn't like she was poor or anything, she had no excuse, good riddance.

Case in point
This thread is like the epitome of sensationalist headlines.

Well if that's true all those morons on her memorial page are in for a fun time.

I see a lot of denial, but let them have their grief in peace, it's traumatizing to loose someone and I don't think these people should be quoted and ridiculed here on Facepunch regardless of how dumb it may sound to us.
Also this article is a lot more informative than the one in the OP.
Apparently she was likely killed by one of her accomplices.
Case in point
oh, wow, what is that like 80 dollars in 20's and 30 in singles?
what a fucking g.
Or in a dixie cup.
or a 12 pack of colas.
Or a tissuebox
She didn't really deserve to die but I don't hold it against the homeowner, nor am I condoning her actions.
Or a tissuebox
Maybe in a shoe so when you reach in and grab it you can say "hold on let me just put on my good pair of SHOOTS" and then you could say "looks like the shoe is on the other foot".
Well if that's true all those morons on her memorial page are in for a fun time.
That's what happens when people assume things with no evidence.. sort of like the OP apparently did with this thread title
texas
One of the local store's here has a sticker on their window that reads: "Nothing inside worth dying for." and it's accompanied with a human silhouette target with holes in the head and torso.
It's not a good idea, breaking and entering.
She plotted with others and executed a plan to break into someone's home. Why is she any different than some unattractive middle aged burglar?
an unattractive middle aged burglar doesn't deserve to die for petty theft either
http://www.facebook.com/groups/291590207605928/

um posting a link to her facebook memorial so people can ridicule her is stooping pretty low
why would you even do that
[editline]1[/editline]
I'm assuming you haven't had to suffer the pain of somebody close to you dying, otherwise you wouldn't be doing this
