Nope, my bad! I should have looked into it more thoroughly from the get-go. Once I actually went looking for confirmation on whether or not he had specifically referred to his final decision as a blind trust, it was easy to find the truth of the matter.

This should only stop being a talking point when Trump actually deals with these conflicts of interest - he should be criticized for it until that happens, and having a "welp, guess we'll have to settle for "bad" because Trump doesn't want to go any further" mentality is kind of ridiculous in my opinion.

My mentality is more "I think this is more than sufficient," but it's obvious this is as far as it's going to get. Trump is not going to give up his business--and by extension, his legacy--under any circumstances. Aside from removing his family entirely from the public sphere, I can't see the President-elect willingly distancing himself any farther from the organization that bears his name.
