Vice City came out just a year after GTA3, it's a wonder it wasn't a rushed piece of shit really and no surprise they didn't have time to add swimming
swimming is for nerds tommy vercetti can't look cool when his glorious t-shirt is all wet and shit
yeah he'd rather drown and die
TAKE, THESE BROKEN WINGS AND LEARN TO FLY AGAIN LEARN TO LIVE SOOO FREE WHEN WE HEAR THE VOICES SING THE BOOK OF LOVE WILL OPEN UP AND LET US IN TAKE, THESE BROKEN WIIIIIIIIIIINGS
I heard that song yesterday on the radio

This was the game they wanted from the beginning, evident because of Flashback FM.
How is that evident?
The entire stations playlist is the goddamn Scarface OST. If that isn't enough to convince you then I give up.

Like, they knew they were going to make parodies of the 2000's, 80's, 90's, etc. It's evident in that sense but I don't think I could match it with your evidence. I can loosely agree that it was the game they wanted though - Rockstar's known to improve on their last game released.
I fucking love Vice City, I would sit there day and night just playing it, Ive played more vice city then any other game, I bought it on Xbox, PS2, PC and Steam. Oh how much i love it. I really hated San Andrea's after that, It just didnt live up to Vice City glory, Well, The planes were good.

LCS was a better parody of the 90's/00's than GTA 3 was. They kinda wanted to make an 80's lampoon before then. You didn't see gangser rap playing or being referenced to in VC. Think about it.
So if they're following this "Mobile release on every tenth anniversary", I might be able to play GTA: San Andreas on my phone after two years? Fucking awesome.
your android is probably way more powerful than a PS2. the PS2 only had like a 294 mhz CPU
I'm not sure which I liked better at the time, but I think SA has aged better than VC. Mainly because its large map and unique features still compete with sandbox games today.
Is this going to be on tablets?
I've just seen that Vice City isn't available on Steam anymore, I wonder if it's anything to do with this.
I found the controls of the GTA3 port pretty terrible, hopefully this is better
Nah, this is the order from best to worst: Gta4 Gta VC rest of GTAs GTA SA GTA SA would have been good but there were unnecessary elements like Swimming and Biking skills, like wtf is up with that shit?
I'd say is... GTA SA GTA4 GTA VC GTA3 But then again, to me, they are all amazingly great. Had a LOT of fun with each of them. One thing I must say, is that GTA4 was a bit of a downgrade in terms of some gameplay elements compared to GTA SA. But GTA4 really was an improvement on the engine and the graphism, so still stands tall even though SA IMO has some better gameplay elements.
