11 bravo is basic infantry. Not specialized like a Ranger.
Actually there is no 'Ranger MOS'. The 75th is comprised of many different MOSes including 11B.
When veterans want to get a discount, only boots go along around in a uniform. Most of us just show our veteran ID.
The edge is too much. Even if we haven't, that's not the soldiers fault. Also I never said for our country, I said on behalf. They're putting their lives on the lines for the countries interests no matter what you want to claim.
They're putting their lives on the lines for the government's interest
Seriously? It's that bad over there? :pwn:
no, it isn't. soldiers can totally still use their discretion with these things. almost like the whole idea was alarmist daily mail trash to begin with
Doctors get paid a bit more than soldiers.
Yeah and there's significantly less doctors than soldiers. On top of that it's harder to become a doctor than a soldier. I'd wager some roles in the military, like pilots, will also get paid sgnificantly more. Wwhat you're comparing is essentially risk pay versus scarcity pay. That said the whole ou soldiers are amazing, let's support them anyway we can is something that's mostly endemic to the US and doesn't really happen in Europe too much.
Calling "His superior" that had the exact same rank as him is a p big alarm
Also his uniform is dicked up, his flag is where his unit patch should be. If if he was a ranger like he says he is, he would not be grotesquely out of shape. He's also seen talking around on his phone and talking while walking. In uniform, you are not allowed to be on your phone and move around at the same time. The whole "My job is... I go out on missions" is pretty tell tale too

We're talking a couple hundred bucks per month compared to a non-flying officer.
They don't get paid significantly more. We're talking a couple hundred bucks per month compared to a non-flying officer.
Significantly more isn't an overstatement when compared to an enlisted man, who comprise the majority our forces.
Significantly more isn't an overstatement when compared to an enlisted man, who comprise the majority our forces.
It's actually about twice as much right? [editline]8th December 2014[/editline] Regardless, that's still like a quarter of what a doctor would be making.

[editline]8th December 2014[/editline] Regardless, that's still like a quarter of what a doctor would be making.
It depends on a number of factors but Officers make more than twice as much as enlisted folk in some cases, plus Doctors, Nurses, and other specialty Officers get great bonuses.
Fucking.disgusting.
How much even is a military discount?
ive bought things that were at 30% off, and applied my discount to make it closer to 50% off. I feel dirty, when ever I use a mil. discount. Very dirty. [editline]8th December 2014[/editline]
They don't get paid significantly more. The officers i work with (the RNs, who do a VERY similar job to me, arguably easier) make nearing 80k a year and get their own house. The jump from E to O is a big step my friend. The government values a college education almost a little too much.
It depends on a number of factors but Officers make more than twice as much as enlisted folk in some cases, plus Doctors, Nurses, and other specialty Officers get great bonuses.
You get flight pay, but I also believe there are a few different types of flight pay (hazard pay/not hazard pay). Or maybe it was general flightline pay (as in anyone working on the flightline gets a bonus), then further bonuses for being in hazardous situations. I forget, my grandfather broke it all down for me a few years ago. And yeah like ScoutKing said living arrangements are usually far better for officers.
Fuck that fat son of a bitch.
Fun Fact about this fat asshole. He spent time in jail for impersonating a police officer in the 90's. Oh, it gets better. Not just a police officer, but one that had died in the line of duty
