How does it not make sense?
Because I've asked no questions lol
Because I've asked no questions lol
You have asked a total of 4 questions.
And yes it was not a question, it was a statement.
Thank you. EDIT: Why do you keep changing your posts entire meaning afterwards? Its going to make for a very confusing read.
Laser guided, he asked you a specific question that was VERY clear. The fuck are you doing [editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
What made you agree and disagree with both these statements?

Laser guided, he asked you a specific question that was VERY clear. The fuck are you doing [editline]29th May 2013[/editline]
Yeah and I explained why I rated them. The fuck are you doing. In fact, I did twice. Instead of attacking my argument he tries to derail the argument.
Israel has reversed its assessment about the staying power of Syrian President Bashar Assad and now thinks he’ll remain in control of at least part of his country for some time to come – a conclusion that makes it likely, a growing number of officials think, that an escalation of violence between the two countries may be inevitable.
That's pretty much saying they are wanting a arms buildup so that they can just invade Syria and hopefully topple Assad's government. Not to mention that already violence is spilling over into their northern neighbour, Lebanon.
i think laserguided and nodachi need a restraining order in these threads.
i think laserguided and nodachi need a restraining order in these threads.
I think we need a divorce. He can get to see the Syrian kids at the weekend.
why did anyone trust israel's analysis anyway
why can't we just accept both sides are full of awful people already
I could have sworn the rebels committed just as much atrocities as the Syrian army at this point.
Difference is one is state sponsored, the other not. There is a difference between the state, and a group of individual. Check again.
The rebels and their problems are going to be mainly after the war. Caliphates commit a huge amount of fucking atrocities.
Syrian army recently commits two massacres of men, women and children in two separate towns. Facepunch rates this winner.
Regime affiliated Shabiha or National Defense Force not the army specifically.
Those who agree on the rebels being equal to the state and call me dumb, should check out legislation and analysis of the Argentine Dirty War. By no means, what a group of individuals do, will be worse than what the state does, because the state main mission is to protect it's people, not to terrorize them (State sponsored terrorism). THIS, however, as some stupid people who can't think properly believe, does not mean that the rebels haven't done anything wrong, BUT, it will be never be worse than what the army does. Do I have to take out the puppets in order for you to understand?
I know Assad is clearly the bad guy here, but still...when was the last time a Middle East civil war actually made things better for anyone? Assad wins, and he keeps oppressing and probably killing his people. The rebels win, and they immediately fight a second civil war along sectarian lines until someone finally wins and can oppress everyone else. The ethnic divisions in that part of the world just do not tolerate long-term democracy, every political move is seen through the prism of one tribe trying to gain dominance over another tribe. Plus, if the Islamist faction of the rebels eventually wins (which would be likely, since Islamists seem to have unlimited, stable financial support) we end up with another Iran-like theocracy that would happily grant safe haven and support to extremists.
Yeah and I explained why I rated them. The fuck are you doing. In fact, I did twice. Instead of attacking my argument he tries to derail the argument.
So you just press agree to hit it? But that makes no sense. Because if you just hit buttons to hit them, you would have hit any other button because that's "just so wacky". you didn't explain your views which is what he was asking you to explain. Do you think rerouting the question to something that won't get your views attacked is going to really show how strong your views are?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libya#Revolution Turned out fairly well.
That was the best of all of them and even it is still on shakey ground. Through various means nice and bad.
sunnis and shias have been killing each other since the sects were conceived
yeah, but it's not doomed forever to be like that because they're this and that and etc. the assads have been a major cause in religious tensions, especially in shit like the hama massacre in 1982 also, russia just shipped assad s-300s
BEIRUT — Syria has received the first shipment of a sophisticated air defense system from Russia, President Bashar al-Assad was quoted as saying, sending a signal of military strength days before an EU arms embargo on the country lapses. Reuters Russia had promised delivery of the S-300 missile system to the Syrian government despite Western objections, saying the move would help stabilize the regional balance at a time of insurgency in Syria waged by Western-backed rebels. Moscow is a staunch ally of Assad and it has appeared to grow more defiant since the European Union let its arms embargo on Syria expire as of June 1, opening up the possibility of the West arming the Syrian rebels. "Syria has received the first shipment of Russian anti-aircraft S-300 rockets," Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar newspaper quoted Assad as saying in an interview due to be broadcast later on Thursday. More of the missiles would arrive soon, he was quoted as saying.
also, russia just shipped assad s-300s http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2013/05/30/world/middleeast/30reuters-syria-russia-missiles.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&smid=tw-nytimes&_r=0
Considering the syrian army has almost total air superiority I don't see how this changes much. I'm fairly certain the purpose of those weapon shipments was to ensure that NATO-sided countries don't attempt to intervene or provide air support like they did in Libya.
also means israel won't be able to fly in at will, s-300s are pretty nasty
People who think the shi'ias and the sunnis are going to get along are living in fucking fantasy land.
As someone who used to live in Bahrain this guy is somewhat correct. The polarization between the two sects is despicable. The Saudi monarch for example, would gladly support Israel if it entails attacking Shia Iran.

You're no better than the ones calling anti-semites people criticizing Israel. [editline]30th May 2013[/editline] But I guess political-correctness is more important than cold, hard facts nowadays.
