Because people won't buy a game they know nothing about, no matter how creative it is.
If they put Call of Duty on a game and they didn't advertise it, people would buy it.
And that's because Call of Duty is a well known and received franchise I fail to see an argument here
My expectations remain high, I love how the object picking up is like the original Deus :v:
Crysis combat done right. Without bullshit aliens.
I understand its hard to market a game so heavily driven by an in-depth narrative but there are things like weapons and augs they could easily talk about. So far I've figured out a little too much about the plot due to the gameplay and interviews. IMO they should've done something like somethinginthesea.com, not strictly info about the game but more about the world.
My point was that there isn't any real point to pumping a lot of ad dollars into a project that is still months away from release. You advertise the hell out of something in a PUBLIC manner (aka to non-enthusiasts like us) the month or two prior to the release of something. Not 4-5 months before.
Jesus christ I want this now
Looks awesome, but the yellow/black color scheme is kinda annoying.
I never played Deus Ex, but this looks amazing.
Goddamn I wish I had a rig that could run this. I really don't want to play this on XBox.

I really, really want this. I've loved Deus Ex ever since the first one. The second one wasn't bad, but it also wasn't as great as the first one. If one were to view the second one as a different game entirely, it's pretty good.
I was watching this trailer on Youtube. I saw a comment saying "This is a rip-off MGS4". It was highly rated. I facepalmed so hard.
