I don't even know why these batman games are praised at all, they're all dull as dishwater. the combat makes me wish I were dead. maybe it's just not my thing but god damn I'm not pleased that shadow of mordor used the same combat style as this only even more repetitively. At least Batman did it right for that method.
I love how WB have somehow put out the best port of the year (Mad Max) and this fucking mess How do you fix a game for 3 months and then come back and literally nothing is fixed and its exactly the same
I got this game for free for buying a GTX 980, and even I'm upset about it.
I got this game for free for buying a GTX 980, and even I'm upset about it.
even your gtx 980 hates it
Its amazing how many ass kissers there are on the steam discussions. Almost all of them are "what? You dont have 32gb ram? Are you poor?"
Its amazing how many ass kissers there are on the steam discussions. Almost all of them are "what? You dont have 32gb ram? Are you poor?"
they'd justify it even if they split the game into 15 chapters, and sold every chapter for 60$, every single chapter will have a 5$ micro-transaction item that you NEED just to get passed
pathetic
Borrowing from Ubisoft's by telling us if they make a shit port it's our problem not theirs. I'm sorry my GTX 970 and 8GB of RAM isn't good enough for you WB. Maybe running medium on a medium tier PC is the rule of thumb?
I'm starting to guess that all these talks about consoles having x86 means better PC ports were bullshit. How do you manage to fuck this up as AAA studio?
So this image is currently on the frontpage of the steam store. Is this related to the "create batman TF2 items contest" or are they really so desperate that they are going "Buy our Batman game and get a free Genuine Ballonicorn"
The first one, they just picked an image off the basic ones. For some reason they picked the Pyromania items, doesn't really seem to fit :v:
"Hey you're gonna need 12GB of RAM to run this even though the consoles only have 5GB available to games lol have fun xoxo" [editline]29th October 2015[/editline] I have zero programming experience and I probably could've ported this better :v:
I'm starting to guess that all these talks about consoles having x86 means better PC ports were bullshit. How do you manage to fuck this up as AAA studio?
I assume it just facilitates the initial port, but if you are lazy you will get a shit port anyways.
Never bought the game but it ran at just about playable levels when I ran through it in the waiting period to MGSV so I'm surprised they actually managed to fuck this up even more. If it weren't for the fact it's unplayable Arkham Knight would be a pretty damn good game. What a shame. Guess they were being literal with the tagline: "This is how the Batman died."
This is fucking gold to me, I feel bad for anyone who bought the game, but really, why didn't they refund it by now beats me, but still, WB being this shit is fucking funny.
It's kinda funny. I bought the game, played it on its first release, and it played absolutely fine for me. Solid 60fps during pretty much everything and I don't have a NASA-tier rig. I guess I got really really lucky.
I got this game for free for buying a GTX 980, and even I'm upset about it.
Use it for asswipe or shred it. [editline]29th October 2015[/editline]
The game was programmed by dogs. V:v:V
Dogs are too intelligent to program this game! The programmers are most likely the garden snail variety.
Too bad. I really liked the Arkham series :(
Wow finally game with a memory leak bigger than Grand Theft Auto 4.
tried to get a refund from GMG because i waited to give WB a chance and they told me to fuck off because they already gave refunds earlier even though WB said themselves they are giving refunds till 2015.

Basically, here's what happened. WB gave the port to Iron Galaxy. Iron Galaxy is busy hammering away on the new Killer Instinct, so they're only able to allocate like 10 people to do the port. Because of the lack of resources/manpower with such a high constraint on time, WB/Iron Galaxy is forced to release the port in its current state (broken as fuck). Not like WB cares, because they knew people would buy the PC version no matter what just on name alone. Steam refunds become a thing, and WB gets a massive bite in the ass. WB decides to go back to the drawing board. Instead of handing the port over to Rocksteady to properly finish it, WB hand it back to Iron Galaxy, who is even deeper into development for the next season of KI. I know people are definitely quick to jump the gun and blame Iron Galaxy for all the issues (and they do share some of the blame), but I think the fault lies more with how WB has managed the whole situation. Instead of having the port done in house by Rocksteady (like Asylum and City were), they decided to outsource it to a studio who was knee deep in developing an actual game. Yeah, IG could've probably declined, but money is money when you're a relatively small game dev. They are the ones that decided to release the port in the state that it was, despite the numerous issues it had. And they are the ones that promised that the game would not be broken upon re-release. Granted, they seem to be taking a lot of good steps regarding this whole fiasco (offering refunds throughout the rest of 2015), but they're the ones who caused it all anyway. And it's not like they haven't done shit like this before. Hell, they've done sketchy shit for even good PC ports of games. Honesty, if it wasn't for WB actually trying just a little bit to make things right, they'd be worse than EA or Ubisoft in regards to video games. As of right now though, they're pretty much part of the "triangle of shit" when it comes to awful game publishers.
Dogs are too intelligent to program this game! The programmers are most likely the garden snail variety.
Too right. A matter of months ago, we had a small white dog put out a certain critically-acclaimed RPG, and despite being made in GameMaker it puts Arkham Knight to shame.
Sue their asses.
nah i told them again in a more direct tone that Warner bros themselves said they giving out refunds they said fine jeez

Any word on Nvidia doing some takebacksies? I got this is a gift and I'd be more than happy to see it go. Take Starforge while you're at it.
Good god what a disaster.
Any word on Nvidia doing some takebacksies? I got this is a gift and I'd be more than happy to see it go. Take Starforge while you're at it.
yea how does the whole thing work with nVidia
12 GB of ram? WTF PS4 and Xbone sure as shit don't have 12 GB so why should PC players need that much. Fuck off.
yea how does the whole thing work with nVidia
No one knows.
Dumb. But isn't xbox one gonna be turning to a windows 10-like version if it for the os? What does this mean for the xbox one version?
