Maybe provided technology to add more fancy effects that utilize nVidia GPU specific stuff or just some fancy shit in general and then said "here's the shit go do it and slap our names on there"
yea how does the whole thing work with nVidia
I've contacted both WB and nVidia and they've both basically said, "sucks to be u." Next I'm going to try Newegg. I'll update after going through the process with them.

As an update: Newegg gave me a code to their current promotion, a choice of Rainbow Six Siege or Assassin's Creed Unity, without any hassle at all.
So if you have Arkham Knight through the Nvidia promotion contact Newegg and get another game for free.

I'd recommend Siege. Not only because I think it's more fun, but because of Unitys quality. Plus, you can get Unity off a bunch of sites for less than 10 euro at this point. Siege isnt even out yet, I think?

I think he meant syndicate.
I think he meant syndicate.
Oh, in that case I won't judge.
I think he meant syndicate.
You're right. It's syndicate.
so you beat the game and got Fallout 4 free?
yep. Worth it :v:
I really hope this disaster doesn't hurt Rocksteady in any way. They make absolutely stellar games.
Talked to Newegg, they gave me the option between AC:Syndicate and R6: Siege.
Now to wait for Syndicate to come out.
Amazon refunded $60 on my 970 purchase

dam to bad you can't get Fallout 4

I was hoping, but it has to be one of their current games on promotion.
Well, GMG actually does not refund anymore, since "BW released a patch"
Well, GMG actually does not refund anymore, since "BW released a patch"
Must be some new patch that nobody has reported about then because the latest "patch" was a hotfix from the 5th that made it so the DLC achievements unlocked properly. Then again GMG seemed pretty reluctant to offer refunds again, so I guess it's not much of a surprise.
I bet they are gonna stop porting their games to pc because pc gamers are too entitled or something
Honestly I just wish WB would step back for once and actually let the developers do their job rather than constantly stepping in and interfering. Of course if they did that, we wouldn't be in this situation again. So far this just seems to be WB just trying to make as much money as they can before they cut and run.

what do they do to interfere?
I'd want to chip in and say that even though this port is very, very buggy and over-all terrible; I can obtain 60 FPS frequently and the FPS drops are either to 40, or a quick lock up. The game's pace, outside of car CHASES sort of makes this okay. Arkham Knight is an awesome game so far and I would hate for anyone to miss it (especially Arkham fans) just because of really bad reputation. Maybe don't buy it now but even if this game doesn't get a new patch and fixed, this is worth playing at some price.

There are two reasons to play the game, Kevin Conroy and [sp]Mark Hamill[/sp]
did they forget how to make a game or something
when you toss your game to someone else isn't there a contract or something that says "Okay you'll actually have a full team working on it and not toss it to a closet group while you work on Killer Instinct."
who knows maybe Aliens : CE wouldn't have been trash either under these circumstances

More like they had a tight deadline probably. It's not like the devs don't notice that the game is shit

They had a tight deadline
and then like 3 months after that deadline

That's how video games are. You need waaay more time than you usually get.
That's how video games are. You need waaay more time than you usually get.
It's the reason movie games are (99% of the time) shit.
"Here is money and an IP, make us a game. Also the movie comes out in 3 months, we need the game by then byeee..."

This is why i wish games based on films would come out around the time of the DVD/Blu-ray instead of the theatrical release. It gives the company more time to develop, and they could market it as "You loved the movie, now buy it along with the video game!"
what do they do to interfere?
They make really poor decisions. There were several articles released when Arkham Knight first came out that stated WB knew the game was broken, but pushed for release simply because they thought it was good enough.
