"Please note that we always position our Anti-Tamper solution as hard to crack, not as uncrackable," Denuvo marketing director Thomas Goebl told me. "So far only one piracy group has been able to bypass it.
"As always, we continue working to improve our solution to create security updates for upcoming Anti-Tamper versions. We will do the same with the learning from this bypass. It's correct that the title in question was cracked some days after release. Given the fact that every unprotected title is cracked on the day of release - as well as every update of games - our solution made a difference for this title."

I think you're a bit naive of you think the majority of people pirate games because of bad drm practices over something as simple as not having to part with their money.
Feel free to prove me wrong with actual evidence I'd love to be wrong
I have to crack my legal GTA4 copy just to play it, it's even the one patched to not rely on GFWL, and that's just the one I can remember on a whim.
I know of a dozen if I could be arsed to look though my libraries of games I still care about.
Also games getting chopped up into expensive DLC's sure is fun.
And lack of shareware or Demo's in general ain't fun, having to rely on something like Steam's return policy isn't all that swell.
Not to mention the notion that I'm merely 'renting' software versus OWNING it, Fuck SaaS.
