I've used shift consistently in video games on PCs since I was like 8. But it still even bothers me to use anything other than caps lock for letters. I didn't use shift once so far into this sentence.
It's the same with F5 - I know it's there, and it's a quick and simplerefresh but I ALWAYS do CTRL+R for some reason.

Just holding shift is easier because you just let go of it when you are done TYPING IN CAPS rather than going back and pressing the button again. At least thats what I think.
