I do a mix between typing caps with shift and caps lock.
I can type fast enough that it doesn't waste or save anytime at all.

I USUALLY JUST HOLD SHIFT TO TYPE LIKE THIS, I DON'T USE MY PINKYS (PINKIES?) TO TYPE ANYWAYS.
Caps lock is more of a pain in the ass than shift for me, because I forget that it's on and have to erase what I just typed, turn it off, and type it again.

I use capslock for ventrilo, HOW WILL I EVER TYPE AND TALK WITH MY friends EVER AGAIN.
For the times I have to make long, all caps headings and stuff, I really need Caps lock. I'm fine with using shift if it's for like one word but if it's like THE PROCLAMATION OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN DURING SLAVERY IN THE SOUTH, then I'm gonna wanna use caps lock.
Fuck capslock, I have never used the RIGHT shift key for anything other than pinball games and I will [i]continue[/i] to never use it for anything other than pinball games.

Their making it as an Internet OS so removing the function keys was partially good, as long as they put a refresh key in. Any ways Google has always been about nice simplicity, why stop now?
I hold down shift WHEN TYPING IN ALL CAPS anyway. The only time I use my caps lock key is by accident.
Am I the only one reminded of the Marathon games and binding run to caps lock being frowned upon

But... But the caps-lock key is my cruise control to cool.
It's easy to hold down shift, it's only annoying to put commas while holding shift.
Since my ring finger sits on A (WASD format, after years it naturally rests there) Instead of pressing shift I tap caps lock, type the letter then hit caps lock again. It's an extremely fast process, and the shift key was an un-natural movement for me (having to hold it down)
