Quick launch our own chemicals at China first.
No need to get butthurt over your small asian dicks China. We're all just friends here. (User was banned for this post ("Racism. Way to prove the point that FP consists of sinophobes." - Swebonny))
Time to throw an EMP into china
their factories are probably from the 1400s and have no electrical components
I'm for building giant self-supplying air bubbles with a population of 500k and letting China strangle themselves in one of the most spectacular ways possible
That is a hell of alot of bubbles! Hans-Gunther 3 - our local Bubble Habitat Inc. representative
China is like an intimidating estate agent.
It is really only going to get worse. You can't give this much power and money to a totalitarian regime and expect them to play nice.
What? WHAT?! Your freaking kidding! We're trying our best to cut down on the pollutants, and China wants to undo this just because the world agrees to ban something they make profit on?! That is way over the top!

but china, arent you part of this world your going to fuck over?
but china, arent you part of this world your going to fuck over?
Like I said, they'e already fucked their land over, they could care less for everyone elses'.

That is way over the top!
Then what you do, and what they probably will do, is threaten sweeping embargoes and sanctions against China if they don't follow through with the ban. Their bottom-line gets hurt either way, but one is more devastating to them. If there were to be an embargo, countries like Taiwan and Vietnam would jump at the chance to take over all of that open industry. China is already losing business to both of them.
If we don't do something they're going to kill the planet.
They're just butthurt. Like always. About everything.
Yes, and the butthurt possibly is going to drive this world to the ground. Goodbye green Earth, say hello to a wasteland because China got pissed. I seriously hope they aren't serious...
i wonder if its gonna be like the cloud from new vegas
Am I correct. Certain companies are profiting from creating and destroying(wtf) the gas. But the World wants to ban the gas. So the companies threaten to release it? [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] What's even more weird is that the person saying this thing is working at China Clean Development Mechanism Fund. AKA an organisation that works to clean the air.
Honestly, a lot of what China is doing with their economy is them flailing in an attempt to keep it up for as long as possible. Basically, this and other measures like it from China are the economic equivalent to Viagra for China's economic erectile dysfunction.
Funny how the statement of one single idiot can represent the entire China. :golfclap: Facepunch.
This is why we need to be careful with our environmental policy. There are places in China making pollutants, and no actual products, then destroying said pollutants, just for the benefits of "cleaning up after yourselves". This is like that company that makes fake Disney movies threatening to hack every channel's airwaves with their shit if they're banned from making rip-off movies. The embargo plan would probably work. I wonder how well telling China that this is an act of war would help.

Money is all that matters.
No need to get butthurt over your small asian dicks China. There's no need to pretend that the Chinese are sitting around thinking "how can we fuck up the world today" In fairness, that's probably only because thoughts are illegal in China
Just because the organisisation is working to clean the air doesn't mean that they aren't corrupt enough to ruin it for profit. Money is all that matters.
I don't think the title of this thread "China is now holding the planet hostage: Give us billions, or we will release huge amounts of a potent industrial chemical into the atmosphere" equals "Chinese air cleaning organisation threatens to release industrial chemicals into the atmosphere" Daily Mail quality titles. Edit: I'm not going to start yapping about reading the article and such crap again as I tend to do. Make up your own reality. The things you guys seems to believe just makes no sense. China(the government/nation not a single person) has spent several billions to fix their environment. And now you're assuming they're going to pump poison into the atmosphere. I mean seriously . . . come on... But of course, I can't deny that it's a serious offense and that his statement should be investigated. Because that's crazyman's talk.
Surely this is illegal? Arrest them for ecoterrorism or something. People go to prison for less for fucks sake!
Lets threaten to launch VX into their atmosphere if they mess up ours :v: Some people can't take a joke.
Are there any more sources? The article was posted yesterday and if it was really anything to worry about, it would be all over the place by now
China is so environmentally stupid. I have a chinese room mate and I had to teach him how to recycle. When I asked if they recycle at all in China, he said people use street recycling containers as trash cans for when the real trash cans are full. And I'm an environmental science major :suicide:
china releases gasses into atmo solution: light the now highly flammable china on fire
And remember, its just a test. How many times can he say that?
People are morons, you basically need to engrave certain things in their heads.
