It rustles my jimmies knowing that there are people as nuts as that.
Actually come to think of it there might be some sort of connection between State control of banks and the typical libertarian views that the Government should print its own money, not the Federal Reserve.
Hrmph. Socialist libertarians.
fucking what.
Libertarians believe in dissolving the Federal Reserve because its unconstitutional.
So do the words "Democrat" and "Republic".

I've always wanted to see those posters thrown into a pit with someone just as nuts but on the other side of the political spectrum and see what happens

I like to think they're just doing that on purpose for reactions.
Karl marx was one of the most influential men that ever lived, why is this such a big deal for the media its like their trying to erase him from history
Libertarians believe in dissolving the Federal Reserve because its unconstitutional.
They believe in breaking a lot of shit because its "unconstitutional".
The Constitution is pretty good, but its also old as fuck and hardly accommodates for the far more progressive world we live in now. It is not picture perfect and the greatest thing ever written. It needs a lot of revising and overhauling, and even then it still won't be a perfect work. Treating the Constitution as the end-all-be-all and believing only in the strictest interpretation is short-sighted and naive.
And hell, the founders themselves were aware of this and talked about it even in their own time.

I have always wondered this, it seems that American media really try to make anything related to socialism is evil.
Why is this? Do Americans genuinely believe that?
Wait a second.
There are STILL people who have a bug up their ass about communism and socialism? When the Soviet Union no longer exists and even Red China makes stuff that gets sold in Walmarts to good, God fearing redblooded Americans?
How quaint.
why does everyone in the states think that socialism is an evil thing? i got that they don't like it at all, but is there a concrete reason behind it?
Translation: I only get my news from biased and partisan media that panders to my world views. I have no desire to know the facts and the other side of the story; I only care if it makes the other side look dumb.
Translation translation: I enjoy putting words in other people's mouth.

Because of the propaganda fed to people starting in the early 1900s that everything about socialism equals atheism, anarchism, communism, and later Stalinist Communism.
Karl marx was one of the most influential men that ever lived, why is this such a big deal for the media its like their trying to erase him from history
Because COMMUNISM! and COMMUNISM! sounds like TERRORISM! and RUSSIA! used COMMUTERRORNISM! under STALIN!
Okay billy, now put the car in drive and press lightly on the gas to move the car socialist towards the stop sign...
I must admit that I, Nikota, Crusader of socialism and the leftist agenda, secretly funds the right wing by linking to such sources as fox nation and having a rather extensive right wing bumper sticker collection.

The cold war mentality.

You can blame Stalin and the loooong cold war for that.

What happens when you combine broken black and white thinking that puts Zoroastrianism to shame on a national scale?
"The Soviet Union was our enemy, therefore all things related to communism, socialism, and Karl Marx is evil."

I posted like twenty articles that one week, just because I was seeing if he would deliver on his bitching about it in every thread I made. Man, did it work.
Toyota's slogan is "moving forward"...but I guess that doesn't count because we all know that the Japanese are still secretly fascist wackos.
I posted like twenty articles that one week, just because I was seeing if he would deliver on his bitching about it in every thread I made. Man, did it work.
Didn't you get a ban for making so many of those?
Toyota's slogan is "moving forward"...but I guess that doesn't count because we all know that the Japanese are still secretly fascist wackos.
In addition, Nazi Germany's famous blitzkreig doctrine was entirely focused on moving forward as fast as possible.
Therefore Obama is a fascist, nazi, socialist, marxist, muslim, who hates jews and capitalism.

Well, the logo of Macy's is a giant red star.
It's a communist front, I bet.

You don't like / are jealous at,
what you can't have / ''what you haven't tasted''.
Well, the logo of Macy's is a giant red star.

I've been telling people the Macy's parade is a front for communism for years.
Guys, guys, the American educational system has ties to Marxism!
The Communist Manifesto:
"Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form and combination of education with industrial production."
Ban all schools now.

I think I got a 3 day for using fox nation or addictinginfo in one of their famous "Bash the other party and put it in the middle of the news" articles.
why does everyone in the states think that socialism is an evil thing? i got that they don't like it at all, but is there a concrete reason behind it?
I don't like socialism because, quite frankly, I don't trust the government. Concentrating too much power in a single overarching institution seems like a risky thing to do, especially in one that has continuously failed the people.
That being said, while I personally don't agree with socialism, I suppose I can see why someone with a different outlook might support it.
You see. The color red is rooted in socialism. It's why Hitler used it as a background when designing the Nazi parties flag. Therefore, we can assume that the united states is..about half socialistic.
I think I got a 3 day for using fox nation or addictinginfo in one of their famous "Bash the other party and put it in the middle of the news" articles.
It was still a funny couple of weeks. That is also how we got the "The Nation Says" meme going for a while.
