The problem is is that this is a bullshit bandaid 'solution' that solves nothing, but serves only to violate people's rights. Forget about the fact that females engage in terrorism so little as to essentially amount to nothing, as someone posted above. There are plenty of ways to get around these new TSA policies if you were, in fact, looking to hijack or blow up a plane. Although the fact that conventionally attractive (likely skinny and white) women are being singled out by TSA agents is abhorrent, it's still abhorrent when it happens to anyone else. The problem isn't that men are allowed to see the images these scanners produce of women. It's that TSA thought it was remotely appropriate to create such policies in the first place when they would, in other circumstances, be considered sexual harassment and/or assault - and that the US allowed it to be put into place anyhow.

They really should go back to having private security contractors at airports rather than the TSA, and just have regulations ensuring that they're held to certain standards. That federal funding is really better spent elsewhere in flight safety, like the air marshal program as lulzbocksV2 mentioned.

I've noticed some people in this thread moaning at the TSA for screening women because "WHEN HAS THERE EVER BEEN A WOMEN TERRORIST HUR DURR". Once again women, this is why this equality thing just is not working out. If you want to be fucking equal, you have to do all the same shit that we do. Yes, there is a chance you will be treated like a sexual object in the process, but it's the price you must pay for equality. (Not that I condone this really fucking weird behaviour by TSA officials.
