It's very disappointing (pathetic sounds too aggressive) to see that sort of situation. I mean you can tell that he didn't decide to be in a polyamorus relationship but rather discovered that he was in one. Unless that really is the kind of relationship they were looking for, him and Burch should consider that they shouldn't have to deal with that kind of situation and just move on. At the same time though, people like Anthony Burch throw stones at everyone else.
I don't think it's very nice to make fun of someone who clearly loved somebody, and originally believed them to share a mutual preciousness but then later found them slipping away and who is/was trying to find a way to make it work. You wouldn't laugh at vulnerable women in emotionally abusive sutuations, don't be toxic and pretend it's okay to do it to men. [editline]10th April 2016[/editline] If someone enjoys cuckholding that's one thing, but from what anyone knows this wasn't how he would have liked for things to happen.
I don't know what is up with him, or what's going through his head, but he could always, you know, file for divorce, you don't have to be lonely, you don't have to be sad, you can always find somebody else. But Burch and this guy seem to do it because they've convinced themselves of this weird fucking ideology where they have to be submissive because they're men. It's no coincidence their wives also seem to be extremely manipulative.
You can assume they have an entire ideology, and accept it just from those sentences? Half of them are "I am alone and I love my wife." and then the rest of it is him actively saying it angers him, it upsets him. If you can deduce what ideals he has accepted and assimilated and what he has refused then you should also see someone who is still in love and wants to be loved. It is not so easy as "just" ending it or "just" standing up when you are scared of being even more alone than you already are. [editline]10th April 2016[/editline] "You don't have to be sad." Oh when you put it like that!

Hell, you're assuming they're afraid, I wouldn't dare to do that, I don't know if they're abused or something, you don't either. I don't know why you think you know the guy better than I do, or that you know what's going through his head. All I know is, he's rather getting the short end of the stick by the looks of it, and by how he has a fucking book on polyamory, it clearly seems he's been getting some bad advice. There are ways out of that situation, it's not helpless after all, it's entirely up to the guy to have the initiative to go ahead and do it.

being in an open relationship is one thing but posting shit like "this is my comfort food for the night while my wife is out getting fucked" on twitter for all to see is just weird

But if you are speculating you know what he agrees or doesn't agree with, that he's absorbed some weirdo dominant/submissive sexual ideology from tweets that paint a picture that he's not quite happy with the whole thing I think you're reaching. I don't think I'm reaching to say that he feels alone and that by just divorcing someone he wouldn't be quite literally even more alone. P.S. Being in a Polyamorous relationship isn't necessarily a "bad" thing.
I stand corrected about Alison never possibly getting into anything raunchy. Wondering how NoA found out first. Nobody in their right mind would moonlight as a prostitute while working at Nintendo which further highlights just how insane/stupid/unprofessional she is.

I just think it's a lame situation to see and likely even worse to be in and it's no doubt an emotionally complex one.

I have to hand it to this topic, I genuinely did not see the outcome of this coming. I mean I knew she was probably going to be fired but then it had to pull a M. Night Shyamalan on me on why she was fired.
