Get out of my fuckin' country cunts
R.I.P Austria
ROIGHT LADS WE'VE LOST TO TURKEYS WE'VE LOST TO EMUS BUT WE'LL NEVER LOSE TO THOSE DAMN BOATS LET'S GET EM! AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE! [sp]God we are so fucked.[/sp]
Is this supposed to intimidate us? What the fuck are they doing?
Is this supposed to intimidate us? What the fuck are they doing?
Sending a fleet of ships to Australia for reasons?
I would expect this kind of thing from China, not Russia
Is this supposed to intimidate us? What the fuck are they doing?
This makes me uneasy. So I'd say it's working.
This makes me uneasy. So I'd say it's working.
Why? They're just ships. It's not an invasion force and they aren't in Australian waters.
That shirtfront didn't go well. In other news no news, ships haven't done anything threatening yet. I want to hear what Russkies say about this. I doubt Putin would ever attack Australia because the boats won't handle all the sharks and if australian emus manage to regroup after the invasion the army will be fucked.
Why? They're just ships. It's not an invasion force and they aren't in Australian waters.
Certainly. But I don't like the idea that Russia cares anything about Australia. Recent global military movements (mostly Russia's) are all around concerning. All this talk of returning to cold war era tactics... Plus it doesn't take much to start a war. The cuban missile crisis there wasn't technically any change of strategic position for either Russia or the US by the USSR having missiles in Cuba and yet the US was all systems go for a full scale invasion of Cuba. I think it's a little naive to be completely "pff nothing could ever happen to us"

Its another thing to jump the gun and report Russian ships in neutral waters as "coming for australia". Its not about being naive its about not being irresponsible.

It's escalation from small events that lead to more dire ones.
Don't worry lads; Its just a fishing trip after the meeting in China. [t]http://www.whatthortoldme.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/putin.jpg[/t] [editline]12th November 2014[/editline] [t]http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/201411/r1354481_18996261.jpg[/t] On a second thought...
Soo that is what they were talking about: " - Vlad, mah rates plummin, halp. - K, sendin boats, go be a hero. "
Maybe Putin can see the occasion of an utterly incompetent polititian in power and takes it while he can.
In the news next week: Tasmania votes to reunite with Russia.
Putin insists that Tasmania is historical part of Russia
Russia is about to bring independence to the Russian speaking minority of north austrailia
Speak softly and carry a big stick.
oh well, good luck beating the world if war happens, my adorable Russians
and no guys it totally is an invasion force the tanks are 30 minutes out of canberra
Here to liberate the ethnic Russian koala's from the Nazi-Fascist pro US Emu's.
this is what happens when you shitpost at Russians
Invite them ashore for drinks. It isn't like they are going to invade. May as well undermine their efforts at aggression by responding with kindness and good humor.
In the news next week: Tasmania votes to reunite with Russia.
And nothing of value is lost
not when the boats are a Varyag guided missile cruiser (flagship) and possibly Udaloy II or the lone Sovremenny missile destroyer(s), the best we've got are our Anzac-class frigates and the Adelaide-class frigates (the latter being based off of the US Navy's Oliver Hazzard Perry frigates)
... You guys are so fucked. Maybe you should settle this in a drinking competition, but instead of normal alcohol you're drinking distilled spider venom or something fucking crazy like that. You know, whatever the hell it is you mutants (and you are mutants, I saw Mad Max, I know) drink down there because it sure as hell isn't Fosters, 'Stralian for beer. I'm pretty sure that's 'Stralian for piss, canned, and then sent to America and we happily drink it. Anyway aside from our weird dietary habits, I'm certain the Russians wouldn't be able to drink your kangaroo scorpion whiskey, and they'd all die, and you'd get some cool ships! Hell yes! You can thank America later for this awesome plan.
Im sure itll be the worst thing since the emu war.
Invite them ashore for drinks. It isn't like they are going to invade. May as well undermine their efforts at aggression by responding with kindness and good humor.
and then when they least expect it, unleash the dropbears
Actually, Australia is historically russian territory. Besides - it's not an invasion fleet, it's a humanitarium help - obviously Australia can't take this amount of Uranium on their own. There also might be some ethnic russians that needs protection from nazi, you never know where nazis can be.
