WHERE DO YOU LIVE
Asia I bet.
I remember when it was $1.49 one time. My jaw hit the floor.
It's that price right now in Australia for unleaded, and amazing diesel for once in cheaper than unleaded, usually it was unleaded being cheaper. I buy premium though, and that costs $1.69 which sucks ass. To make matters worse I live in a remote area, so local petrol stations charge through the roof, but if I took an hour drive to Sydney it might cost me as low as $1.38 or something.
Also I was wondering - Do other countries have schemes at petrol stations where you can hand in a voucher you get from buying say $25 at a specific supermarket to save 4c a litre? We have that here, but you can also get 8c vouchers too if say you hand in a 4c voucher and also buy x amount of food and shit within the petrol station itself.
How much is gas tax in the US anyways
Why does this sound cheap compared to me paying $3.99 a gallon in upstate New York?

One minute sounds less than 40 seconds but it isn't
The units aren't the same
It is £6.35 at my local fuel station for a gallon. That's $10.36 USD / $9.94 CAD. Shut up.

You have to keep in mind the size of your country too, Canada is massive and if gas was as much as it is in many European countries our economy would simply shut down
"im a european my prices are higher therefor your opinion on the prices you are comfortable with are completely invalid, shut up/quit whining"
"im american my school tuition is higher therefor your opinion on the prices you are comfortable with are completely invalid, shut up/quit whining"

Stop complaining here in California its $4.15 a gallon
Oh man I'm .005 cents short, let me go ask someone for a half a penny, thanks for waiting.
The high gas prices are actually why our dollar is stronger than yours right now
You pay for $20 of gas and get $20 worth of gas. This might be something like 16.294 litres but you can't be "short" on gas. I've never heard of paying for specific amounts of gas.

More oil than you, less taxes on it than you
My parents are considering buying a new Chevy Cruze. If you get the eco trim, EPA rates it 42 MPG on highway but consumer reports a 47 on highway. Good stuff
