I'm pretty content with Vancouver's public transportation system, this is still pretty steep though
And before you say "so what?", this is per liter. If it were per gallon it would be 5.42 US dollars
I remember when my family first went to Canada. We were like "Oh $1 per gallon that's pretty cheap. Wait a second that's not in gallons...." Needless to say my dad got pissed.
Boo Hoo Australia is getting between $1.45L and $1.55L for no reason. I wish there was more then 4 different servos then we might get some competition.
Quit your whining, it's 2.34 USD/liter over here.
canada's a big country bro [editline]17th April 2011[/editline] lotsa drivin to get round places

They booted me off the other night at 12:30 and I had to make the rest of the journey home from New West station to Victoria drive in the grimy-ass N19.

Starter 1 or 2 person homes in Victoria BC are 400k if you're lucky (averages around 450k). This, on top of gas prices and the increasing food prices are really hitting hard for the younger generation here.

3.4 cents is souring? its been 1.29 in victoria for the last year.
When I first read the OP I thought "what the fuck are they bitching about?"
Why did they kick you off? They don't do it for no reason.
It was sunday night.
I've always wondered why Europe has higher gas prices than North America... is it simply population or that they don't have enough chances to get oil? :/
As being an American we have the luxury of cheaper gas because of one most important reason. Oil is valued and traded in USD. Their are other factors but if it wasn't in USD you bet it would be more.
