My computer shut off permanently for earth hour, and by that I mean my power supply fried during earth hour.

?? i don't think any city in the world is light polluted enough that you can't see polaris/vega/sirius or even orion's belt on clear night

With all the light turned off I couldn't see anything, so I set a bunch of tyres on fire and used them as torches around the place.
