I don't get why people want/need new phones all the time.. I have a beat up xperia arc i got for free off my friend and I can do everything someone with the newest iphone can
Someone should buy daniel M a title saying "I HAVE AN INSANE HATE FOR OTHERS OPINIONS AND CAN'T EVEN CREATE GOOD ARGUMENTS PLEASE BAN ME" in massive text.
yes
Only true for the iPhone 5, the displays for the 4 and 4S are $50ish for a full kit, or $30 for just the front. And it's only worth sending in if you have some sort of replacement plan. And either way I was not responsible for my phone breaking, both times (the first time I even bought it broken)
Well that's not as bad then. I can understand not being able to swap out the DNA screen. The display is the first of its kind, and it's nowhere near as popular as the iPhone. I don't think manufacturing replacement screens would be very cost effective. The tear down was actually pretty informative, nice to know there's a water tight seal around the thing.

Not even end-user servicing, just that phones like the DNA are awful hard to service period. If I were to design a device I'd make it as easy as possible for it to be repaired so when people come to me for service, I can hire less skilled workers to fix it.
The DNA seems nice but the lack of a removable battery and now expandable storage is a turn off for me
