Ignore it then.
Guess he misunderestimated how much power his car had.
I see what you did there.

Secret service gated a public road? FFS
If you've ever owned a car with a carburetor and a cable linkage, you know that "The gas pedal stuck!" is actually a pretty plausible story. Much moreso than any Toyota product.
I Love that Car. But the Plymouth Superbird is better:

:fappery:
I wish the title just said "car". Here I was thinking some sort of mascott float designed like a barracuda crashed through Bush's bedroom wall.
That would have made for a more humerous situation. :(
Sure Bush was a shit president, but he seems like a rather cool guy. Like, I bet he can make some awesome steak (probably because he's Texan.).

Yes, I'm sure his hired cooking staff makes excellent steaks.
I love how every body in this thread seems to be wishing the death of Bush.
What?
No one gives a fuck about the old fuck, we just care about the barracuda.
And on that subject, will the car make it? :ohdear:

You don't just call a barracuda just a car, it is a majestic piece of muscle car history.
Why does George W. keep getting brought up somehow?

Reminds me of that scene from Harold & Kumar.

I have the same question I asked the nimrods that lost control of the Toyotas: Why the hell didn't you turn the ignition off?!
I've had a runaway throttle before. So has a friend of mine. We both regained control of our engines by turning the key to off. It's not rocket science, and it's something you should know even if the only thing you drive is a 95HP shitbox. Someone in control of a muscle car, something that by definition is barely under control, should know better.

I had the throttle on my '85 F150 jam wide open one cold morning. I normally pump it three times to set the choke and prime it. It started, then proceeded to rev wildly. I calmly turned the key back off, freed it, fired it back up and all was good. Never even hit redline.
My friend has a '68 Mustang with a built 351W. He had his throttle jam wide open going down the road. It went from 45 to 100MPH in the few seconds it took for him to turn the key off and regain control. His jammed open because the rods linking pedal to carb got caught in plug wires that were from a big block.
