Saudi Arabia isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Its a super conservative country so social change is slow. Watched a documentary about it and even in the most conservative province people were rarely executed for crimes
Explosives have my vote.
Can we just push people out of a plane? That would be pretty metal.
Can we just push people out of a plane? That would be pretty metal.
If I remember right, Argentina did that in the 70s. Over the Atlantic. With hands and feet tied. For political prisoners and protesters.
Launch 'em into space.
AFAIK, they behead people by sword, not guillotine. I.e. the head is almost never cut off with one swipe.
I had a feeling they'd be using swords. In that case, it would be an extremely painful and horrifying death.
Launch 'em into space.
could go horribly wrong.
Well.... Err... No, not an evolution at all.
I'd say be-headings are the more painless way to go, assuming they use a guillotine.
don't they use a sword?
Depends on how fast the brain ceases activity, usually a bullet to the brain causes the person to die near instantly due to shock and damage to brain tissue, or at least pass out until death a few moments later. Be-heading just cuts off the blood supply and allows blood to drain from the head, essentially it is like choking the person to death, but faster and the shock of it happening could cause the person to pass out at least. In some cases, since the brain is still intact it can remain active for a matter of minutes. To be honest, I'd rate them about the same, though beheading is probably more gruesome.
Especially if the first chop doesn't go all the way through and your neck is like halfway cut and they have to chop at your head multiple times until it comes off.
