So, someone can explain why Facepunch had a forum section for this game before?
My problem isn't that it's boring it's that the co-op NEVER FUCKING WORKS

For reasons unknown it requires you to unblock several ports to play online correctly.

Not anymore, you can host without opening ports now.

That actually convinced me to get it. I don't care about multiplayer, and I like guns and Diablo clones.

If you say so, I think you made a mistake though, I only payed $34 because me and my friends went in on the four pack, I beat the game through, didn't play with my friends too much, took to some modding, then got bored and never bothered to reinstall it.

That still didn't fix it on my computer. :saddowns: Multiplayer in Borderlands has been perpetually broken for me since I got the game.

Probably because the developers (Randy Bitchford) decided they hate steam, and rather than use Steamworks, they went with Gamespy, not that they care, they got their money already, so the online doesn't need to work anymore.
I, for one, like the game very much.
I've invested nearly 50 hour in it as a soldier, nearly level 50. For 25 bucks you'd think it was piracy.
I found borderlands to be a huge hit at LAN parties when it first came out but there just wasn't enough variety in missions, enemies or levels. It's definitely a good game but its not going to have the same mind-blowing coolness it had when it first came out. If you're playing with some good friends you're in for a good few hours of fun but once you've completed the game there's not much replay value. I think what would've helped it is a modding community that extended further than editing a few weapon values.
Borderlands?
Boredomlands is more like it.
I would probably buy it but my computer wouldn't be able to run it.
If only I hadn't already bought Borderlands.
Of course, I've only played it for about 6 hours... But it's still my favorite game. Oh, and if you count the time played on it with the 360, you reach triple digits.
i sold my retail copy a got it at a profit of $10. (if you dont understand i sold for $50 aus and got it for $42 aus off steam)

ohhh wait thats a profit of $8 :P
If I'm not wrong Xfire has that live broadcasting thing where you can see people playing games, live.
It works to see some real gameplay, because some of the Youtube videos may have only the best parts the uploader recorded, not all of them showing glitches and annoying stuff.
