Steep Decline In Americans' Belief In Global Warming
Sorry, I didn't mean to talk down to you. And I wasn't saying that I'm going to wander the streets because nothing's real, I accept that a certain amount of hope, if illogical, must be had if one wants to live. However, that's a far cry from changing my life so some people a thousand years from now don't have a one crisis on their hands instead of another.
And it means that I usually find your posts to be pretty intelligent.
Oh take your stupid ass Matrix philosophy somewhere else.
Bananas prove global warming, silly
That's Ray Comfort. Kent Hovind is the guy that proposed that the flood of the bible was caused by a layer of ice encapsulating the Earth's atmosphere melting, along with several other silly "theories".
The Hovind Theory also fits this thread even better, and a more suitable pun could've been thought of.
Oh take your stupid ass Matrix philosophy somewhere else.
Matrix philosophy? :wtc:
I found the matrix to be sorta backwards, I mean it was basically a bleeding heart affirmation of humanity's worst traits.
Was I the only one rooting for the machines?
bad mcguffin

No he's right, Libertarianism is pretty retarded.

I have, he's right. Glenn beck is a moron.
Sweet, it's about time that people learn that climate change is nothing but a scam... The planets control itself, and we are not doing harm to it (unless we develop a missle to destroy planets, then we should be pissing our pants).
and the earth is flat

Your science teacher needs to stop being a teacher.
or move to art or something
I thought I posted this earlier but whatever.

Little does rayx know, we are, contrary to popular belief, not on Saturn.

None of that looks related though. In certain areas, the sun seems to be emitting less radiation while the Earth heats up.
Ooh look, graphs! That's even better than science!

HA HA HA STUPID SMARMY JOKE HAHA HA
Too bad it falls flat on it's face because you're completely wrong, ey?
Solar output levels and global temperature have been going in opposite directions for decades.
Hard for the general public to believe in global warming when they see this on their TV one day.

That's because the general public is poorly educated.
It's a persistent problem.

I believe in the theory of evolution, however i don't believe in this freakin scam you call "climate change" that made by Al Gore himself who made a video of it... and if you look at his electricity bill you see the scam.

Yes. Global warming was made by Al Gore.
Forty years ago.
He must have funded the research by selling lemonade.
Sounds adorable.

How does Al Gore being a hypocrite have anything to do with whether or not global warming is real?
How does Al Gore being a hypocrite have anything to do with whether or not global warming is real?
Global warming was invented by Al Gore!
None of that looks related though. In certain areas, the sun seems to be emitting less radiation while the Earth heats up.
It's not a 1:1 ratio. If you look at the general trends of the graphs they are remarkably similar.
Ooh look, graphs! That's even better than science!
Presenting actual data is part of the scientific method. I think you don't understand that just because the earth is heating up (it is), it doesn't mean humans are causing it. We still have little effect on this planets ecosystem, but we like to make ourselves feel bigger than we are.

Decades? The graph ends nine years ago.
Little does rayx know, we are, contrary to popular belief, not on Saturn.
Yeah that's why the graph has nothing to do with Saturn.

And also big corporations LOVE the fact that there is a green movement, have you ever seen "environmentally safe" plastic bottles?
Companies LOVE advertising their shit as green because people will pay two dollars more for them.
Global warming was invented by Al Gore!
Not necessarily, but I'm sure he has a hidden motive towards pushing it, or is misinterpreting data.

You presented a few graphs that look vaguely similar, but you've made no case whatsoever as to why we should think the possibly correlation means what you says it does, which is unscientific.
You've also failed to explain why the world's climatologists haven't seen your graphs as significant. Are they simply not as good at climate science as you? Or is it a conspiracy?

It's obviously something deeper, or they are just misinterpreting actual data. I think you should really read this page.
http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html
It is arrogant of us to think we can actually destroy the earth without the use of nuclear weaponry.
It's obviously something deeper, or they are just misinterpreting actual data. I think you should really read this page.
I did. So you think it's a giant conspiracy? It'd have to be a pretty big one, for so many independent scientific organizations to reach the same conclusion.
What next, is Global Warming a NWO conspiracy?
I did. So you think it's a giant conspiracy? It'd have to be a pretty big one, for so many independent scientific organizations to reach the same conclusion.
It's not really a conspiracy per-say. But there are surely people out there who do indeed want this to pass as scientific fact.
Also, if every organization is using the same model, does it make them any different? Sure they can collect data samples, but if they aren't factoring in any other factors, they are all performing the exact same experiment.
Ever wonder why it takes so long to get a synthesized element on the periodic table? They are rigorous in their tests and it is pretty much de facto law that someone else must come up with a different procedure to reach the same results.
There aren't many independent scientific minds, especially when they are all on the same board (UN Panel on Climate Change).
[editline]11:56AM[/editline]
What next, is Global Warming a NWO conspiracy?
I knew this would happen. Trying to discredit me with this shit. I've never said it had anything to do with a conspiracy. I said it would be beneficial to certain corporations to have man-made global warming widely accepted, and that is true.
Tectonic plate theory, the big bang theory, Black hole information paradox, general relativity, all of these things were alternate answers to what science of their day considered absolute fact. What is a large scientific consensus is not exactly right.

I don't think you're understanding your web page you keep linking. Climate modeling DOES include water vapor. Your web page says "Interestingly, many "facts and figures' regarding global warming completely ignore the powerful effects of water vapor in the greenhouse system, carelessly (perhaps, deliberately) overstating human impacts as much as 20-fold." There's no indication that they're referring to anything other than propaganda literature, and to assume otherwise would be pretty stupid.
There aren't many independent scientific minds, especially when they are all on the same board (UN Panel on Climate Change).
They're not. The panel had less than 20 people on it, if I recall correctly. But tens of thousands of climatologists support their conclusions.
And incidentally, the UN panel was formed with the express goal of cutting through the bullshit and figuring out exactly how much of a threat there is, in order to keep member nations from wasting resources unnecessarily. If anything, "it's not a big deal" was what the UN wanted to hear. Unless you're a conspiracy theorist who thinks the UN is trying to take over the world but that's neither here nor there.

If you want to go that route, it's a lot MORE beneficial to the oil and auto industries to have it discredited, and a disproportionate number of global warming deniers' salaries are funded by oil interests, including Mr. Penn's friends from the CATO institute.

But it usually is. Now you're using creationist logic.
