This is prime example of great IHH, Hamas, pro-Hamas, pro-Arab PR guys. Seriously, the PR guys should be working for big corporates like Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft - imagine what would happened? They'll gain millions upon millions!
Here we go again. Yeah he's an anti-semite pro-hamas terrorist sympathizing doucheweed for not being pro-israel.
Israel saying they will ease it without elabroating is equivelent to Hamas saying they will curb rockets. [editline]12:25PM[/editline] This guy has a valid point.
No he doesn't. He's one of those stupid kids who believe if you don't have a gun your political power is nonexistant. For god's sake. They're almost the on aid and supplies for impoverished/war-struck regions, their word has a large effect because of this, and this will definitely swing the opinion of many people in the coming days.
Israel saying they will ease it without elabroating is equivelent to Hamas saying they will curb rockets.
If they will say so, then I will see it as progress, but until they don't stop, I will support the blockade, just like I'm not expecting the red cross to retract their statements until Israel ease up on the blockade.

And trust me, I'm one of the rarest people to pull the "Win all end all" card of "Troll", but it's honestly looking to be this way.
But Hamas doesn't need concrete on the inside for those tunnels, they do have people who are in Egypt working there. The only people that would actually need it are people who need it for houses and other such things. Also, a source for that claim?
If you can find me a source that shows concrete isn't allowed, in that source it should say something like: "conrete* *concrete and building materials are allowed when humanitarian aid groups request it, but not when "private merchants" request it."
I feel kind of offended that you took me seriously there.
Sorry In these threads I expect anything and everything from any kind of person ever, so forgive me if I take sarcastic stuff a bit too seriously in Israel threads. Especially with psychopaths like Crhem van der B prowling around
If they will say so, then I will see it as progress, but until they don't stop, I will support the blockade, just like I'm not expecting the red cross to retract their statements until Israel ease up on the blockade.
There's nothing to retract by the way. The blockade is illegal and when it's gone it were illegal.
those suicide bombers killed many innocent Palestinians too, and i don't see how anyone can claim that killing civilians, destroying their homes, and overall making them suffer is protecting your people
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_casualties#Suicide_Bombings I don't know about any Palestinian deaths, except for the bombers themselves, but it doesn't matter. Note that I am only talking about the wall here, which is protecting against suicide bombers.
I don't see how can anyway claim that the wall surrounding Gaza and the military personnel on the borders aren't protecting Israel. Before the wall suicide bombers infiltrated into Israel easily and killed many, many innocent civilians.
Regardless of how good it is for the applying force it doesn't matter. It's called collective punishment. Germany walled up the Jews because it was benefical to Germany.
If you can find me a source that shows concrete isn't allowed, in that source it should say something like: "conrete* *concrete and building materials are allowed when humanitarian aid groups request it, but not when "private merchants" request it."
No, the burden of evidence lies on your shoulders as you made the claim first.
There's nothing to retract by the way. The blockade is illegal and when it's gone it were illegal.
The rocket launches are illegal too but no one is complaining about them. If they will stop the blockade will stop.
No, the burden of evidence lies on your shoulders as you made the claim first.
I think I actually did make the claim that Israel doesn't allow concrete in first. I was too lazy to read the thread again so I googled it. I was right, they didn't before easing it.
Sorry In these threads I expect anything and everything from any kind of person ever, so forgive me if I take sarcastic stuff a bit too seriously in Israel threads. Especially with psychopaths like Crhem van der B prowling around
Yeah, I can't blame you for that.
The rocket launches are illegal too but no one is complaining about them. If they will stop the blockade will stop.
You are complaining about them. alot. doesn't that count? Nobody have ever claimed that the rocket attacks are justified, they are just as stupid as the blockade.
I think I actually did make the claim that Israel doesn't allow concrete in first. I was too lazy to read the thread again so I googled it. I was right, they didn't before easing it.
Wait what? So who made the claim first so I can stop making myself look like a dick head?
The rocket launches are illegal too but no one is complaining about them. If they will stop the blockade will stop.
That just isn't true. Why wasn't progress made then? It was a lull that both sides just agreed to, Hamas did a pretty decent job of keeping rogue agents to a minimum. But neither side felt like talking during the unofficial lull. Someone needs to reach a hand out, and it would look good if it were Israel doing that.
Regardless of how good it is for the applying force it doesn't matter. It's called collective punishment. Germany walled up the Jews because it was benefical to Germany.
The Jews weren't a risk to German security, at least not a reasonable risk. The Hamas is a reasonable risk to Israeli security and the wall is an effective way to stop it without causing too much harm. Tell me please, how is the wall so hurtful to them, when it's just on Israel's borders with Gaza, and the Palestinians would still not be able to go into Israel even without the wall?
The rocket launches are illegal too but no one is complaining about them. If they will stop the blockade will stop.
Probaby because these rockets are not a threat.
The blockade hasn't secured the release of the Isaeli soldier nor has it reduced support for Hamas- if anything its strengthened it.
This is actually how it is now: http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Middle-East/2010/0617/Israel-eases-Gaza-blockade-allowing-building-supplies-and-ketchup Before they didn't allow it, full stop.
I distinctively remember a PDF document released by a humanitarian group listing the goods allowed and not allowed. Concrete and building materials were on the not allowed list but had a * thing and on the bottom of the page is said specifically that building materials are only allowed if humanitarian aid groups are the ones asking for it, while "private merchants" are denied these things.
Wait what? So who made the claim first so I can stop making myself look like a dick head?
I made the claim first that Israel didn't allow concrete as part of the blockade, he thought they did, but only if legitimate humanitarian groups were receiving it. He asked for a source for my original claim, saying that it would mention the exception he said. We turned out to both be right in our own way; Israel now allows concrete in after the easing, but before the easing, my statement was correct.
That just isn't true. Why wasn't progress made then? Someone needs to reach a hand out, and it would look good if it were Israel doing that.
As far as I know Israel wanted to prolong the cease-fire but Hamas didn't.
The Jews weren't a risk to German security, at least not a reasonable risk. Tell me please, how is the wall so hurtful to them, when it's just on Israel's borders with Gaza, and the Palestinians would still not be able to go into Israel even without the wall?
Without causing too much harm? There a are people starving to death cause of the blockade and the entire area is being punished for the actions of the few. Or is it a whole fly with the crows shot with the crows sort of thing.
The blockade hasn't secured the release of the Isaeli soldier nor has it reduced support for Hamas- if anything its strengthened it.
It did stop Hamas from getting much stronger rockets and missiles.
It did stop Hamas from getting much stronger rockets and missiles.
So basically for the price of a humanitarian crisis in which thousands of people are starving the IDF has stopped Hamas potentially getting slightly better rockets?
Without causing too much harm? There a are people starving to death cause of the blockade and the entire area is being punished for the actions of the few. Or is it a whole fly with the crows shot with the crows sort of thing.
I'm yet to be given a source where any official Palestinian authorities say that people are starving in Gaza.
