all i can think about lately regarding politics is how long it will take for us to recover our credibility and relationships with other nations on the world stage after this orange gets out of office
How weird, China is thinking about the same thing.
It doesn't seem like he knows anything, based on the article in the OP.
wait did he think the vehicle trade deals only applied to cars? it also means harley davidson can sell their bikes in mexico, a major rising market (that evidently isn't currently tapped by them) at no cost...
America is on the brink of financial collapse anyway. The entire damn thing is hinging on everyone's promise to pay the debt they owe, whatever it may be. A few grand on a credit card here, their car payments there, student loans over here... It's ALL riding on debt. Surely it can't sustain
Not really. America when compared to other developed countries like Canada, UK, Germany, etc. doesn't really stand out at all when it comes to adult/household debt.
A lot of countries people consider to be the best in the world like Norway, Swizterland, etc. have VERY high levels of indebtedness. Debt isn't a bad thing in itself at all lmao.
I wonder what's going to happen to the Republicans' "we promise the economy will see 3% or better economic growth for the next decade and that pays for the $1.5 trillion in tax cuts we gave rich cunts" plan when Trump tears up NAFTA and shafts his own economy in the face.
Canada will suffer, sure, but our economy's doing okay. America's economy is looking like it wants to suddenly plunge into a massive recession with no movement to lower interest rates to break out of it, and a big trade war could be just the thing needed to kick that collapse off.
Go ahead, you bald orange hookerfucker, make my day.
Don't be so sure. Conservative influencers in social media are moving hard against the liberals. It feels like we're going to have our own version of the 2016 American election, good thing the conservative leader isn't really a celebrity like trump is.

Oh good, so then it's not just me that's been noticing that shit, then?

Eh, they know damn well that a change in management will bring about a change in the dumbassery.
He's really digging a hole for America the next time it comes due to renegotiate trade agreements with all the countries he's tried to screw over.
Even if he's not still president, I'm sure our trading partners will be lacking in confidence that we won't elect another president like him down the line. Might be enough to put them off trading with us for at least a few countries, I'd say.

we have a very bad social safety net and very poor labor laws compared to thise countries. you loose your job there, or the economy goes down and you loose your job you have good government and union assistance as well as access to healthcare and job retraining.
here in the US you get your couple months of unemployment, some COBRA if you're lucky and then that's it. the state does very little in the way of actual financial help when you're unemployed here
theirnational debts are a bit different but they seem to have better budget processes as of late given that we are now 6 months into fy2018 and have yet to actually write one
Implying Trump, his bought and paid for minions, and his mostly brainless vote bank even understand, much less care, for that. They all think isolationism and "America First" will somehow magically produce billions of dollars in income solely for America and millions of jobs, even better if the illegals get thrown out because then maybe the native citizens will get those jobs. He just wants to be seen as some kind of savior for the American poor and lower-middle class, and get a legacy in, even if it is one of infamy.
As much sense as this MIGHT make for someone in as weird of a mental state as Trump, something tells me that this may not be the case. I genuinely think Russia has way more blackmail on him than anyone else is even aware of (potentially corporate blackmail of some kind that would bankrupt him and his family?) and are forcing him to just tear our country, and all it's political ties, apart as much as possible before he gets impeached. If you look at it from that perspective of him trying to wreak as much havok as physically possible... it's horrifying to realize that that could genuinely be the case.
Causing a political divide that literally split our nation in half and against eachother, causing distrust amongst our own news media, furthering the wage gap more and more, fucking over our scientific agencies and internet freedom, and proposing new budgets that would put the U.S. another SIX TRILLION dollars into the deficit? I genuinely think he's being pushed into trying to destroy our country from the inside out. And I can't comprehend how more action hasn't been taken against him yet. People are just looking at each individual thing he's done and making excuses for it, without looking at the big picture of all he's torn apart during his entire presidency so far. He's the farthest thing from American or Christian as there possibly can be. He's a genuine tyrant and Must. Be. Stopped. (#MakeAmericaGreatAgain, #DrainTheSwamp)
Lol I love how he thinks he can fix pretty much anything by fucking other countries.

In Trump's head:
"You give us that thing because you are mean. You get nothing."
"Oh okay. Whoa how did he do that?"
