You never only need two rounds. It's easy to miss. Tell me why it'd be stupid to fill the magazine, even if what you're gonna do "only needs" two rounds. If it only takes one bullet to incapacitate someone, why do the world's armies use rifles and machine-guns whose capacities range from 20-200+?
Probably because the man A: Had the common misconception that he's the badass action movie hero and can magically land every bullet or possibly B: He didn't have the ability to get a full clip, for some reason. Or if the domestic dispute option is true, then the wife probably just hid the guns without thinking about loading it up because who would think of that?
Which is why Faze is wrong to say it'd be stupid to bring more rounds than you "need"
If I were in the mindset to kill one person and then myself while thinking of others, I would bring two rounds. I would rather the gun be empty and not fall into the wrong hands while loaded.
Why the hell would you have a magazine loaded with only 2 rounds anyway? I'm sure if he really put those in there with some malicious intent, he'd pack more than 2 shots worth.
Do you understand how heavy a fully loaded magazine is? That's half the reason (pun intended) that the slide was taken off the frame and put inside two different animals. If it was a fully assembled gun it would be obvious there was something inside because of the weight. Two bullets is enough in case something really went wrong but considering wal-mart sells ammunition I doubt it was a huge concern.
