How is he trolling? He's simply asking for someone to actually give him a reason as to why the 3D games are bad instead of just saying that they suck.
Agree with me if you think this guy is trolling Disagree if you think he has a valid point
People need to stop trying to label anything a Troll. Since you like the 2D versions better why won't you explain why you like it?
I don't know the 2D Worms games were just way more fun than the 3D ones. Why do you like the 3D ones more than the 2D ones?
I like the 3D versions better because it opens a ton of options of being in 2D can't have, besides the obvious effects of being 3D, I felt it was more tactical, you have to think much more on your move in 3 Dimensions, like moving, aiming, having to watch your step more, weapons like holy hand grenade rolling away to a side when thrown, etc. No matter if 2D or 3D though I really like the worms gameplay, but I felt that 3D added a more "tactical" aspect.
Of cource you think so, because you played the 3D version before the 2D ones.
aw man xsfox you're so wrong it's criminal
The 3D games felt a lot slower and muckier than the 2D games, and the art style went from a rather dark and spooky tone to a much brighter and kiddy tone. The 2D games also had way more weapons than the 3D games, and the weapons were a lot more creative (French Sheep Strike, Ming Vase, Salvation Army) [editline]12:04PM[/editline]
The 3D games felt a lot slower and muckier than the 2D games, and the art style went from a rather dark and spooky tone to a much brighter and kiddy tone. You could tunnel all around the map and pound people with airstrikes within your underground haven.
Preordered it. Got it for 10€ by buying minecraft for a friend whose CC wasn't accepted by paypal or something. Worms!
Of cource you think so, because you played the 3D version before the 2D ones.
No.
aw man xsfox you're so wrong it's criminal
I am wrong on opinon? Care to explain how it was more 2D was more Tactical?
Their average salaries are much higher...
No...
I found the 3d games to be too slow-paced. Required too much effort moving around to get the right shot and if you miscounted the wind, your attack would fly straight past the enemy (even though you got the right height for your shot and everything (curse this "third" dimension)).
Of cource you think so, because you played the 3D version before the 2D ones.
I played the 2D games when I was young, when they first came out. I remember them on my dads old PC. Then the 3d one came out on the PS2, and it blew the 2d ones away. Tunneling through the D-Day map up to the top etc, much more fun.
£16 for worms.. wat
Still £40 for a shitty game like Modern Warfare 2, wat £16 for an amazingly fun classic game like worms is nothing mate!
Don't forget their "Ultimate map packs" for like 15£.
Any european interested in a copy from a 4-pack? We have arraged a pack but still have 1 copy left to complete the group. You get a 25% saving instead of a 10% in your preorder (14,99€).
24 hour early access? How?
Well you get 24 early access. Thats how
How? Bought it, nada.
It means you get the game 24 before release, not for 24 hours before release.
Anyone willing to trade it for BF2 cd key? It costs 30$ so fair deal :v:
Except Hedgewars is real time and plays nothing like Worms. There's be many games that are exactly like Hedgewars long before it was even thought up. [editline]10:49PM[/editline] Seriously, why do people keep bringing up Hedgewars?
What the hell are you talking about? Hedgewars isnt realtime, it's turn based and plays exactly like Worms, It has the same weapons in the same layout. It's so identical to worms that I'm supprised they haven't been shut down...
Because they have a different name :downs: I'm joking, obviously.

http://soldat.thd.vg/en/
I wish I could buy this but I spent my last cash buying food for the family :(
Who needs food when you can buy worms?
Because it's a freeware and they aren't making money off of it. [editline]12:33PM[/editline] You're thinking of soldat. http://soldat.thd.vg/en/
Nope. The game I'm thinking of has cartoony graphics like Worms and it has grappling hooks. No, it's not Liero either. [editline]05:02PM[/editline] Aha! It was Tee Worlds that I was thinking of. Whoops. :v:
Fucking hell, when I saw this on the front page I thought it was released :saddowns:
