Hopefully pc has the ability to have your own custom radio
It was a blast in GTA SA to have my own shit playing
I even recorded some audio clips and made myself a radio host (I was like 10, so sadly I deleted them).
User Track Player on PC is a GTA tradition, there's an 100% guarantee that it will be in the game.
need stuff like this

I'm surprised no one but me misses the classical music stations. I guess that might be the reason why they were removed. That or because they moved away from the whole Italian Mafia idea.
needs more Trap like A$AP Mob and Gucci Mane
the game won't complete without bangers
Is V's WCTR as good as SA's WCTR?
Oh my god fuck yeah. I was expecting them to do this because they had purchased over 900 licenses for songs to use in the game and only used a little over 200.
I remember getting into an argument with a friend who ended up ragequitting due to how determined i was that it's definitely a possibility to see an expanded radio in dlc or a pc release. He said it won't happen, i gotta go bother him.
Giles Peterson master race!
I mean it's a port, anything new is just a bonus
It is not a port, the pc edition of the game has been in development alongside the console editions since 2012. We have loads of evidence proving this.
Not a port, but better, it was actually developed for pc.
Nightride FM was a publicity stunt done independantly of Rockstar's will. It will never happen.
I know, but imagine if it did :saddowns:

Well actually rockstar never officially commented on the existence of the radio station as far as i know, there is no definitive answer as to if it was real and scrapped or just a pr stunt. Both are very possible.
i want more 60's music :(
honestly i was hoping for more edm on the radio considering how popular the genre has gotten - overall i really disliked the radio in GTAV. Same thing with Watch_Dogs. Watch_Dogs radio was so piss-poor that I'd just turn it off whenever I got into a car :v:
Watch_Dogs just seemed like most of the artists were really obscure. And the artists that weren't had really obscure songs that were far from their best.
Honestly though, very few games I've played had as good of in-game radio as GTA. Only one that seems to get close is Saints Row, and even then its not in the same playing field.
it could be that she's just updating her commentary in the station
but I hope we get new music in addition to the current list
I was fine with the radio but Radio Los Santos was pretty sub-par and West Coast Classics was mediocre.
all the radio stations felt very small to me. You heard all the tracks much more quickly and the stations grew stale much more quicker as well.
I also feel like they really failed to capture the feeling of the genre fitting in within the environment. Hell even cruising around ballas turf listening to either of the hiphop stations didn't feel as good as it'd hope.
They all felt like something was missing.
I want a Thrash Metal station.
Just a metal station in general with a bit of variety, bit of thrash, bit of death metal and so on. I kinda doubt they'll add any new stations at this point, just add more songs to the existing ones. Thank god for modding, eh?

Yeah not the right word I just meant it's supposed to by the same game on a different platform
I can imagine someone adding this in just as a joke.

What Los Santos Rock Radio does need also is a bit more 70's emphasis, it's 80's heavy, which I'm cool with, but a lil extra would be nice.
Is V's WCTR as good as SA's WCTR?
The talk radio stations were pretty weak in GTAV, sadly. No where near as good as WCTR, Chatterbox, or VCPR.
Give me Independence FM and I'll be good.
Yes, please. The only thing that got me through GTAIV's genuinely forgettable bunch of meandering tracks was the fact I could load the GTA3 tracks and RUSH, RUSH, GET DE YEYO all over again.
I'm a populist moron and there are like 2-3 good songs spread across all the stations, including this new list. When I played the console version I just had either radio mirror park or whatever was on when I got in the car on. I'll probably just download a bunch of songs and put them in Independence FM for the pc version.
Also, they need to re-add this to a station:

Nothing says nostalgia like this.

In a word, no.
I'm surprised no one but me misses the classical music stations. I guess that might be the reason why they were removed.
Yeah, probably. Classical music has a very niche market and the majority of that market isn't playing violent video games. Why bother spending all the dosh getting licensing for the big names(And that's precisely what R* does) when nobody's even going to listen to it?

Leave LSRR as-is and just bring K-DST back. Let K-DST handle the classic stuff, maybe shift LSRR to a more modern station that occasionally plays a classic(Basically Radio X without the name).
I'm shocked there's no love for K-ROSE, the best radio channel from SA.

You're definitely right there.
The band's classic Walk the Night appeared on the official soundtrack of the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. According to Rockstar Games, the company thought the song so important to have on the soundtrack that they hired a private investigator to locate Delaney's (who died in 2003) surviving relatives and secure the rights to include it.
Rockstar is very dedicated to their choices with the in-game radio.
I hope they add 2 songs back that were planned to appear on Los Santos Rock Radio but weren't in the final game.
◾Ram Jam - Black Betty
◾Steve Miller Band - Take the Money and Run

Rockstar has shown through giving Soulwax and Flying Lotus their own radio stations that they actually have good taste in electronic music.

I had made a custom station to use with V when the PC version comes out that had all sorts of metal that ended up being something like 3 1/2 hours long, complete with ads (mostly ads taken from GTA IV) and call signs.
But then my HDD died and I lost the file.
Radio Mirror Park was the best station.
