The reason we have Call of Battlefield: Duty of Honour 47 is because people like you write off every new gameplay feature as a "gimmick" and just return to familiarity.
I'd get Shattered Horizon if I had the money to do so, A.K.A. could afford my own food and rent. I loved playing it last free weekend, and really wanted to buy it, but I've got no money, let alone a way to buy it online.
On top of all that, my favourite minecraft server is down.

Lead and Gold is a nice looking game with interesting gameplay...

Lead and Gold is really funny, though I had to get used to you can't shoot through ANYTHING, constant server crash, constant lag, constant 'failed to connect' messages et cetera.
Lead and Gold is great imo.
Feels like I'm really good at it after playing some BFBC2 and HL2:DM
After the arsenal update, I just stopped playing SH. I preferred the original gun that did everything.

Nah, it added depth.
What they really need to do is add more maps though. (Or give us mod tools)

grenades feel pointless too because I can't ever hit fucking anything with them and there are like 6 different ones.
Don't even think of buying lead and gold. It's the worst piece of shit ive ever played.
I have to say, this game has a very sexy HUD.

All grenades in Shattered Horizon are defensive items.
I actually like Lead & Gold. It's simple, but in a good way. Nice time-waster which is quite addictive and solid IMO. Only thing is, as has been pointed out, the networking needs to be improved quite a bit.
