Those are the pending charges. This sentence is for ten counts of production of CP and two counts of possession of CP.

The sentence you listed would probably be a normal sentence... if he was facing single charges. He's faced [I]twelve[/I] so far and has another [I]nine[/I] to face.

As for why his sentence is longer than most murder sentences? It's because he's facing so many counts. In a murder trial, unless it's a mass murderer, the killer is facing a small amount of charges. These charges have large sentences, but even they don't match up to being found guilty of twelve charges.

I think it's based on the fact that there were many kids, many counts of rapes/attempts/blabla so that the charges got piled up big time.

can't say he didn't deserve it and you don't have to see it as 290 years, just lifetime.
