Well no shit they're not rich. And also if the OWS (OUSP?) is going to continue they need to take an approach the tea party protesters took, no violence, attacking police, or whatever else is going on. And to follow the damn rules of areas they protest in instead of blatantly ignoring them and then calling the people who gave them rules "blahblah policestate"
OWS has generally been non violent. And some tea partiers brought guns to rallies [editline]21st March 2012[/editline]
Pretty sure that's just a homeless dude playing along for free food and stuff.
He could also be a vet
Doesn't look that bad. They're all just standing there.
Its still early on, these things usually don't get that bad until later in the night or early morning. There could be problems however because they are apparently going to refuse to leave.
Damn, that chant was catchy. "Tell me what democracy looks like!" "This is what democracy looks like!"
Damn, that chant was catchy. "Tell me what democracy looks like!" "This is what democracy looks like!"
It really is. The chants actually do become really empowering when you're part of a group a hundred strong marching down a city street, flanked by cops. The first march I went to, it was an incredible experience. That chant though is particularly fun to say though because, if you can get a good enough starter to help guide everyone, you can almost sing it. Though at mine it was "Show me what democracy looks like." But it really doesn't change it a vast amount. And some tea partiers brought guns to rallies
Exactly, the argument is that it is an uncontrolled and violent riot because of a few incidents primarily in Oakland. Many were blown out of proportion, and even still Oakland has been a hotbed since almost day one.
He could also be a vet
And even still, him being homeless doesn't mean he can't protest. It gives him even more reason really. People being evicted from their homes and forced out on to the streets has been a serious issue since the beginning.
Did you know the banking family "Rothschild" owns an estimate of 500 trillion in their family net. http://tobefree.wordpress.com/2010/05/10/the-rothschilds-world-kingpins-worth-500-trillion-they-own-reuters-ap-and-fix-the-price-of-gold…/ So does that mean they own 99% of the 1%'s wealth?
