I always fou8nd the word "trickle down" economics to be inherently offensive in it's name. Sounds like some sewer rat licking at a gutter pipe for water or something.
Please point to someone actually using the words trickle down to describe their economic policy. Many people don't know, but the phrase was created by the left to attack the policy, not the people pushing it.
That could be construed as anti-semitic you know?
You go around implying the Jewish bankers control America half the time mate.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wealth_inequality_in_the_United_States#Causes_of_wealth_inequality
Ok, how does this lead to feudalism?
You go around implying the Jewish bankers control America half the time mate.
No, I go around implying that bankers control the world economy. The reason I do this is because ITS BLOODY TRUE. You have selective memory. Everything is Rigged
Conspiracy theorists of the world, believers in the hidden hands of the Rothschilds and the Masons and the Illuminati, we skeptics owe you an apology. You were right. The players may be a little different, but your basic premise is correct: The world is a rigged game.

Ok, how does this lead to feudalism?
Do you only read half my posts? I never said that the literal definition of feudalism would be in place, I said that the bottom class would be similar to the serf class by comparison.
No, I go around implying that bankers control the world economy. The reason I do this is because ITS BLOODY TRUE.
(Except the Rothschilds are a Jewish banking family and you don't like them)
Do you only read half my posts? I never said that the literal definition of feudalism would be in place, I said that the bottom class would be similar to the serf class by comparison.
Please explain the mechanism by which a majority of the population will see a reduction in incomes (without reducing the wealth of the rich) and be reduced to subsistence. I mean it's completely opposite to the trends we've been observing the past few centuries.
(Except the Rothschilds are a Jewish banking family and you don't like them)
Has it ever crossed your mind that I dislike large banking families for reasons other than their religion? It's a pretty revolutionary concept, you should give it a think sometime.
"It's now evident that there is a ubiquitous culture among the banks to collude and cheat their customers as many times as they can in as many forms as they can conceive," he said. "And that's not just surmising. This is just based upon what they've been caught at."

Please explain the mechanism by which a majority of the population will see a reduction in incomes (without reducing the wealth of the rich) and be reduced to subsistence. I mean it's completely opposite to the trends we've been observing the past few centuries.
Allow me to clarify what I meant by the word "Comparison" I don't mean Us compared to 14th century serfs. I mean; 'The 14th century serf class is to the 14th century lord class' as 'The 2Xth century poor class is to the 2Xth century Elite class. As for the mechanism I can chalk it up to; - the inherent unlikelihood(rarity) of a poor person to become a (significantly) rich person . - The inherent ease of losing money, and being bamboozled by libor banks. - The core tenant of Capitalism which states: "Shit doesn't get done without money. No money? Too bad." Do you even realize the defense that the world banks got away with?!
If cities and towns and other investors lost money because of Libor manipulation, that was their own fault for ever thinking the banks were competing in the first place.
So all in all, I can't boast various economics degrees [sp]perhaps like you can?[/sp], what I can say is that if we keep on blindly concentrating on profit/money as the end goal, we will devour ourselves and the environment around us chasing that dollar. [editline]11th September 2013[/editline] Oh and
Net indebtedness generally prevents the poor from having any opportunity to accumulate wealth and thereby better their conditions

So freeze the prices of goods. Make it so the only place corporations can cut spending is the wages of executives. They don't need a fleet of yachts.
I'm impressed. We should increase wages on everyone. Which will make the price of goods go up. So freeze their price. I love this kind of economics.
I'm impressed. We should increase wages on everyone. Which will make the price of goods go up. So freeze their price. I love this kind of economics.
Yeah, why not just print 100 million for everyone! That way we could all be rich!
The entire medical system we have is a product of capitalism.
Oh boy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_FrOy0vySM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnjZnPZKCLc
It's sad, because it's only going to end up even more one sided as time goes on. I think the real problem is in people hoarding it. If you've got a constant movement then its actually going to "trickle down", but if you've got multi billionaire's holding it static the economy is going nowhere and the 99% are getting bluntly...fucked.

It'd be like stepping out of a sauna and jumping into an icy lake.
The entire medical system we have is a product of capitalism.
I really don't know if this is meant as slap on the back for the US medical system or the slight at it, you honestly have me stumped
woooo *party horn* Stuff like this makes me want to just lie down where I stand and give up on the spot.
I really don't know if this is meant as slap on the back for the US medical system or the slight at it, you honestly have me stumped
I think he's referring to how doctors like to push procedures and tests on people without them really needing it. C-Sections are an excellent example of this; it's a quick, easy procedure that adds an extra 2-3k+ onto the medical bill and lets the doctor deliver the baby on their terms, instead of being forced to go into work at 3 AM because that's when the mother started having contractions.
I really don't know if this is meant as slap on the back for the US medical system or the slight at it, you honestly have me stumped
The modern US system is a byproduct of government intervention. Employers have no business providing healthcare for employees, but they were forced to when the government had wage fixing and people weren't allowed to be given monetary raises. So instead they gave them benefit raises. Any system where people don't know or care how much things cost is a system that can't function well.
Capitalism has led to the least suffering to have ever existed in human history. From what I've seen, the largest and most powerful governments on the planet are also the biggest mass murderers of all time (Nazi German, Communist Russia, Communist China, etc.)
Funny because capitalism funds communist China.
Funny because capitalism funds communist China.
As capitalism increases in China, suffering has decreased.
As capitalism increases in China, suffering has decreased.
Except those working in factories. AKA the bottom-end class. [editline]12th September 2013[/editline] Yay free-market capitalism
As capitalism increases in China, suffering has decreased.
Did you know Foxconn had to install safety nets around their factories to stop people from constantly killing themselves?
Except those working in factories. AKA the bottom-end class. [editline]12th September 2013[/editline] Yay free-market capitalism
To be honest I'd rather work in a factory than a field in China. Conditions in China are bad, but they were much worse than before they arrived. [editline]12th September 2013[/editline]
Did you know Foxconn had to install safety nets around their factories to stop people from constantly killing themselves?
Under Mao they wouldn't have bothered installing them.
Under Mao they wouldn't have bothered installing them.
I'm pretty sure they installed them because it's bad PR for business.
I'm pretty sure they installed them because it's bad PR for business.
Well when it happens to often and regularly you literally can set your clock after it, SOMETHING is horribly wrong.
I'm pretty sure they installed them because it's bad PR for business.
Except in Maos china, that sort of thing didn't matter, especially when millions of people kept starving to death whilst he boasted of everybody trying to build a steel mill in their backyard.
Except in Maos china, that sort of thing didn't matter, especially when millions of people kept starving to death whilst he boasted of everybody trying to build a steel mill in their backyard.
Mao was a self centered cunt, no doubt about that. If he were the one responsible for starting the great wall project, he would've issued a order that any worker too tired or too sick to work back-to-back with minimal rest should be made a permanent part of the wall.

With dead bodies that is.
The Chinese Emperors did this anyways. With dead bodies that is.
So it's usual business then...
It's just not feasible. Every attempt at implementation has failed.
Well if being shot to death by Fascists and Communists counts as failing.
