Sigh.
When are people going to stop going to Dubai for "holidays"?
This isn't the first story like this to have popped up. It isn't the second, third, or forth even.
The men, who deny a charge of "consumption and possession with intent to distribute" in relation to the cannabis, are due in court for their first trial hearing on Thursday.
It wasn't even cannabis it was that legal high shit (probably not legal there). I'd be so fucked off if something like that happened over something as shitty as spice you can buy at a market stall

Well its partway true sadly to be honest, but its not to your average well off tourist. They go to piss poor places like slums in India for example, tell a person if they give them x money they'll take them to Dubai to work there and come back with a much larger sum of money for their family. But upon arriving they have their stuff taken, receive none of the promised pay, and are basically forced to work as a slave.
Vice has a documentary on this if you're interested in seeing more.
How do you almost contract AIDS?
Coming into contact with HIV+ fluids does not mean you have a 100% chance of contracting HIV. Even if you do contract it, there are aggressive retroviral regimens that have what, a 30-40% chance of removing it from your system (only way that'd work is if you undergo the treatment during the flu-like symptom stage, not when it goes dormant.)
Can't believe no one mentioned the death sentence bit yet, that shit is just disgusting

Stop looking at Dubai!
