They have something like that and it's called Extradition. Only problem is that both countries have to agree to it.
True, but I mean someone who doesn't work on behalf of either country handling that to take the blame of collateral damage to protect the client. Granted this assumes that the client's country of origin wouldn't uphold the other country's laws. It would be an incentive not to violate human rights or have religion based laws as it could lead to PMCs wrecking the city to get thier client out. Maybe I've watched too many movies though as typing out this makes it sound silly.
Sometimes I wonder if you ever talked to a muslim. Every time I call you out for making broad generalizations, you say "no, but look at these extremist ones" which is correct. But then you go back to generalizing them all again in the next thread
He never even said muslim, why are you putting words in his mouth?

Well, even if you are dealing with down to and including NK, you still need to have to answer for your citizens, even if they don't. So, if you go to such places, they have freedom to fuck up your tourists - it's your fault you let them there, and if you have PMC running down the place, chances are those PMC members are your citizen - in which case the relationship is fucked. Same, you can't use the PMC to establish a puppet government, least another country does the same, turning the place into Somalia-level clusterfuck.
I mean, hell, I had the same idea. Then I realized that it's not worth spreading Middle East's current problems even further throughout it.
Hey feminists, grab a piece of paper and write this down...
this is actual rape culture.
I thought people knew by now that many of these shitholes will punish you if you report rape.

Yeah, the more and more I think about it, the more I realize it would get very messy very quickly.
i think gang just requires more than 1 attacker to suffice
anyways, this is fucking digusting, and even more so considering the attackers are from the UK and have already been allowed to go back scott-free
Committing a sex crime in a foreign country can often result in criminal prosecution in the offenders home country even when the offence was legal in the country it was committed in.
Hopefully the NCA will pick these scum up at the airport on their return.
Fuck the UAE. Despite the flashy tourist side of things it's no less a shithole than the rest of the ultra-conservative countries around it and paving over the shit with gold won't change tha
I only hope these bastards are picked up here in the UK and brought to trial and justice for their crimes, one way or the other.
Why do people still go there!?
It looks fancy on the outside.
And ignorance is bliss.
I have an idea!
Let's ban woman from going to dubai and only woman for the following reason:
SAFETY AND SECURITY
The middle east is very dangerous to travel in, especially if you are a woman. Reminds me of the Italian performance artist who hitchhiked trough the middle east in a wedding dress to prove muslims are peaceful. Her naked, raped, strangled and decomposing body was found near some bushes in the town of Tavşanlı in Turkey.
He never even said muslim, why are you putting words in his mouth?
???
were you replying to the wrong post perhaps?
Why do people still go there!?
Because all those reports of these bad things happening in those countries is just propaganda from the rightwing!
???

I personally know some muslims yes I do, surprised?
And yes, that is what they said they were out to accomplish.
"Ultimately this long performance, this hitchhiking trip through the countries devastated by war, was aimed at spreading a message of peace and trust in the people that we met along our route."
And since the VAST majority of people in the middle east is muslim, how is it wrong interpretrate and write they were trying to show that they are a peaceful people? Which is what they were basicly doing?
Just because you feel fit to interpret it as generalizing or some other way that fits you, doesn't mean I am. What about all the times I been calling you out, and all the times you cherrypick what to reply to from my posts and ignore the statements showing what I been talking about is backed up by facts. Oh you conveniently don't because that is against your agenda.
Also do you think there is a possibility traveling in the middle east for western women could be more dangerous then for men? Especially if alone? I would be interested hearing your opinion on the matter, since you never reply to anything I say except to the parts you deem offensive.
Wait... how do they know that the attackers have gone home? Do they have their identities? I feel like some details are missing here.

that would be like banning muslims from going to Washington DC for the reason
RETARDATION
though you might wanna put a advisory, and anyway; your allowed to go to Iraq, why shouldnt you be able to go to Dubai as shitty as rights are
also, surprised it was laughed off; did they bribe them or something? Usually rape accusations here are taken VERY. VERY. seriously. maybe its different in the UAE, but here if you get raped and you have a husband, you basically automatically win the case

I think the article said she wasn't married that's why she's going through this bullshit right now.
The Vatican.
Edinborough Scotland, Highland Scotland.
Giant's Causeway, Dublin Ireland.
Amsterdam, Netherlands and the surrounding areas.
Norway.
Newfoundland (WHEN IT'S NOT SHIT, I mean seriously some days you can't see 20 feet ahead of you.)
Canada, Rockies.
NYC.
Japan (Not for the weeb shit, it actually has a nice history imho.)
Australia.
Alps.
I can go on, but the factor is that the Arab Gulf States aren't exclusive in how rich they are and although they do have an abundance of wealth a lot of it is spoiled on the moment and not putting anything into architecture.
Sure you may like how everything looks but there's no significance beyond it other than cut-throat corporatism, backwards laws and slave labour.
Newfoundland is the poorest province in Canada what are you talking about
You know what? after rereading the thread and particularly your posts, I see I was wrong. I concede that my response was incorrect due to me misreading it. Apologies.
however
What about all the times I been calling you out, and all the times you cherrypick what to reply to from my posts and ignore the statements showing what I been talking about is backed up by facts. Oh you conveniently don't because that is against your agenda.
There is a far simpler reason for this. When I browse FP on my phone, I dont have a keyboard to make paragraphs of explanation, so yes I stick with shorter responses on mobile. And the "cherrypicking" you say I do isn't that, its my way of drawing attention to certain parts of posts as I respond, as I am doing now. I may leave out segments if they are irrelevant to my current point so that I may keep my post length small, focused, and easy to read, as I am doing now.
I don't have an agenda, unless you count refining one's own opinion's through debate. I may not agree with all viewpoints, but I do attempt to understand them and why someone would support them if they are built on sound logic.
Also do you think there is a possibility traveling in the middle east for western women could be more dangerous then for men? Especially if alone?
Actually yes, I believe there are some major problems with visiting the middle east. In a previous post, I explained how I can't visit my family in Iran because I would be sent to military service the moment I step in there due to some ridiculous laws. And I am a male. Many countries definitely have some backward laws, including some pertaining to women.
And believe me when I say I want to see it changed for the better.
I don't know, it's a beautiful city made for rich people, full of shopping malls and hotels with swimming parks attached. Don't know why people would want to go there on holiday.
Because they are ignorant or dumb.
I was thinking of going someday, honestly.
Sure, it's an authoritarian, ass-backwards hellhole, but it's also undoubtedly the wealthiest place on the planet, and who knows how much longer it'll be around for? I don't think there's anywhere else on Earth that's even remotely close to comparable, nor do I think I'll see one within my lifetime.
The argument of "I don't want to fund them" is also laughable. Tourism isn't exactly the thing that keeps Dubai up and running. Your four-day retreat there isn't going to make or break the country.
None of which is compelling enough to support a country of assholes for any particular time or reason.
To be honest you should not visit any kind of Arab country as a tourist except Kuwait and Jordan which are way better than the others.
is that a joke?
Uneducated question, but how come there aren't tourism bans to these countries?
I'm pretty sure it's because most countries don't prevent their citizens from leaving as long as they didn't do anything innately illegal, no matter how much of a bad idea it is in some cases.
You'd think that the situation over there would warrant at least a travel warning though, instead of just 'advice'. Preferably with tourism offices having to plaster it all over the relevant advertising.
[editline]edit[/editline]
Do you mean a ban on advertising the country as travel destination?
I wouldn't mind, but I think I'd prefer the mandatory warnings so everyone who asks a travel agency about it will get that info delivered free to the door.
