Anyways, wow. That sucks. Well, at least everybody's trying to be optimistic about it, and it can be cured.
Also, people who tell anybody who has cancer to die of it are some of the most insensitive assholes I've ever seen.
This sucks, cancer has hit close to home many times, absolutely awful disease and one of the worst, honestly something like full blown AIDs would probably be a better option at times, at least then you know your 100% fucked and will forever(most likely) be fucked.
Cancer on the other hand doesnt give a fuck, you could be the healthiest motherfucker on this planet and it would still kick your ass, getting it has so many factors that you can almost never find it aside from genetics.
And even when its gone, it can come back full force years later, and it can continue like this forever, each time different in some cases, its a ticking timebomb.
Plus a huge issue is the treatment, a lot of people have heard it sucks, but a lot of people havent seen it or dealt with it first hand, I have only seen it, but like I said close to home, and its bad, it becomes so bad sometimes that the person on treatment would feel better from the horrible shit the cancer is doing than what the treatment is doing, im not even talking just chemo, chemo is ass but its 10000x better than even just over a decade ago.
A lot of the pills and hospital time are just brutal, Chemo you know you will feel like shit, and they can explain it pretty well the symptoms, its the fucking other treatments and wide variety of pills you can end up having to take that just fucking destroy you. You have like a shitload of these different pills in you, all with a ton of different side effects going on all at once every single day all day and the more you take the less effective they become in helping and more effective they become in hurting, plus they are generally very heavy duty pills.
I hope really Totalbiscuits treatment goes smoothly, because thats usually the worst part and no one really deserves cancer, especially some fucking youtuber that made you mad.
Glad he MOST likely has enough funds for a steady amount of treatment, he may earn big youtube bucks but Cancer doesnt really give a fuck, it could sadly turn into 3 years of treatment, and im sure he makes enough money where he wouldnt be able to benefit from a lot of the aid you can get.
Hope he kicks its ass.

Pill chemo and surgery, huh? Sounds like it's not [i]too[/i] bad; that's pretty much what my mom has when she got thyroid cancer, and she turned out okay. Of course, now she has no thyroid glands and has to take pills to replace the hormones, but otherwise she's fine and you'd never have noticed. Barely even lost any hair the entire time.
Seems like he caught it before it became a serious problem.

TB's bad reputation on the internet really frustrates me, because he is actually probably the kindest and most genuine youtube content creator I know of. The goal of his videos is to both provide valuable and honest information to consumers and to help devs who deserve it

Some of the posts in this thread really make me question the nature of the people who made them.
And Cureless's post is one of the worst things I've seen in recent times on the forum, ever.
Look, just because the poor chap got cancer, doesn't give you the reason to say 'hahaha he deserved it' just because you don't like him. I don't like people who play the troll doing this sort of crap.
I work in a cancer hospital, and I've seen how people suffer terribly from all sorts and variants of said disease. One of the patients I'm in charge of now is a two year old kid suffering from retinoblastoma who's going to lose both her eyes, if she lives through the treatment at all to begin with. Do you know how difficult it is to tell somebody that the best their only child can hope for is a life of being blind and disabled, if they live at all?
At least the bowel cancer was caught at an early stage and oral chemo will suffice, once the surgery is done. If it had worsened, or spread elsewhere, I wouldn't give two coppers for TB being able to live a satisfactory life after the treatment required to halt progression or cure the disease.
All this said, I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he can ignore the trolls, and not get depressed because of them. He may be a bit of a cunt at times, but he's still a genuinely decent person.

People get this kind of shit for less. I mean, have you ever gone to a semi popular twitch channel that allowed everyone to chat? Almost half the chat messages are people desperately, [i]desperately[/i] shitting on the streamer.
It's an easy way to get noticed for people who have no real other skills or abilities. Just pick fights on the internet. Preferably with well known people or a big audience, so more people will notice you.
