Linux got 1 game up and whole news go apeshit. But honestly, no need to hate on me but i really dislike linux and i will stay on windows because its still best at everything, of course performance is bit lacking but if you got a good rig and a disk of backup just in case, you will be fine for rest of your life.
It's not just one game, this means that people who had every other game in linux except this one like me can move over to linux without missing something.
i really dislike linux and i will stay on windows because its still best at everything
lmao no
Yes, I really enjoy reinstalling my OS every month
Next time maybe start taking care of it instead of installing 696 addons for firefox.

Windows is far from being 'best at everything'. It is still the king when it comes to pc gaming, tho.
Next time maybe start taking care of it instead of installing 696 addons for firefox.
If you think that's the main reason people reinstall windows, you're mad.
If you think that's the main reason people reinstall windows, you're mad.
If you really think its the main reason then you are really stupid, i said an example of a reason. If you take care of your windows without instaling some malware programs and do casual clean ups and defrags, same with antivirus scans. You will be wide and clear.
Chill out, we are just discussing, no need to get angry.
I try to but i'm getting bashed by linux users. (User was banned for this post ("Threadshitting" - Craptasket))
Next time maybe start taking care of it instead of installing 696 addons for firefox.
Ignoring the fact that I'm on Chrome

You will be wide and clear.
You might be clear, but you can't ever be sure, because you have no reasonable way of making sure. You can in reality just hope for the best and cross your fingers.
I try to but i'm getting bashed by linux users.
You're bashing linux users in a thread about a game being released for linux. Did you really expect any different? Stop trolling, man.
I try to but i'm getting bashed by linux users.
You're shitposting and then complaining about peoples reactions. Good logic.
bashed
I see what you did there.
How do you install Wine games in Linux Steam?
Well, you can't exactly, but you can install Steam through Wine, and install games in that Steam client instead of the native Linux one.
Why did you even come in here if you were going to shitpost?

You're bashing linux users in a thread about a game being released for linux. Did you really expect any different? Stop trolling, man.
I didn't really bash anything, if you read what i said, and maybe start working with your brains, maybe then you could really start discussing about my attitude towards you.
I didn't really bash anything, if you read what i said, and maybe start working with your brains, maybe then you could really start discussing about my attitude towards you.
Ok
Thats just hilarious, poor linux.

i really dislike linux and i will stay on windows because its still best at everything
Oh right, you didn't bash anything, you forgot
I didn't really bash anything, if you read what i said, and maybe start working with your brains, maybe then you could really start discussing about my attitude towards you.

Thats just hilarious, poor linux.
I'm reading and all I can get from this is shitpost and bashing
Ok Oh right, you didn't bash anything, you forgot
You forgot to mention about how its my opinion towards it and i even explicably said not to hate me because of my opinion.
i'd love to switch to linux but it's just too much of a hassle. even with ubuntu software center it's not 100% easy, I still have to eventually google "how to x" and copy various commands to the terminal.
You shouldn't really ever need to use the command line, there's graphical tools for anything you want, as far as I know. Personally I use the command line a lot, but I prefer that environment. However, other people do not, and for them there should be applications for anything you can think of (almost).
You forgot to mention about how its my opinion towards it and i even explicably said not to hate me because of my opinion.
You came into a thread about Linux and bashed it. That's shitposting. You're logic is like saying that it's fine to go into an Apple store and shouting shit about Apple, because it's your opinion.
You forgot to mention about how its my opinion towards it and i even explicably said not to hate me because of my opinion.
You said you didn't bash anything and I found two examples where you did. Good job. Go take that elitism somewhere else [editline]26th September 2014[/editline] I also love how you rate every post disagreeing with you as dumb.
If you're using Software Center, then don't. Also, what the error says would be helpful
What else am I supposed to do when I click install from the software manager and nothing happens/error ? It happens for pretty much anything lol
First, make sure you've installed Ubuntu or Linux Mint correctly, NOT using wubi. If it's still the case, and you receive errors, post the errors in the General Linux Chat thread, we'd always like to help you out. If you're in a rush, you could always jump into some IRC or whatever, but otherwise you can post about problems there.
You forgot to mention about how its my opinion towards it and i even explicably said not to hate me because of my opinion.
You're really bad at articulating your opinion in a civil manner. All you've done is thrown shit at people and acted extremely ignorant to what Linux is and its capabilities. Like, really. I'm a windows fanboy and even I know its capabilities and respect Linux as a platform.
-Silly me is late to the party-
Linux got 1 game up and whole news go apeshit. "You can't hate me for it because it's my opinion get over it." It's not exactly a working way of thought.
if you honestly give a shit about what type of OS other people use then there's no hope for you
We all knew this was going to happen eventually, it was just a question of when. Now we just wait for Valve to port the games that nobody plays like L4D1 and they'll be all done. (psst, just report the troll)
