• Trump explains why he wants to be able to 'see through' his border wall
He's not. He's just hoping that this supporters are as shortsighted and gullible as voting for him suggests they are. It's becoming quite clear that Trump doesn't intend to build a wall, but rather to slap a fresh coat of paint on the existing wall and hail it as a promise kept. The wall proposal has been scaling down since the moment he became president. Every week sees new "compromises" on it. What was originally going to be a "big, beautiful wall!" has morphed into nothing more than a fence. Look at what he's said in just the past couple of days: 1) Wall needs to be made of steel, with gaps placed in it so that we can "see what's happening" on the other side. 2) The wall doesn't actually need to cross the border, because of natural obstacles such as mountains, rivers, and distance. Does that sound familiar? If it doesn't, it should, because what Trump is describing is the majority of the current, existing border fence. Which, mind you, doesn't actually do all that much to prevent immigration, smuggling, or trafficking. [t]http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/2017/03/03/ht_wall3_dc_170303_4x3_992.jpg[/t] It should be painfully obvious to the fools who put their trust in this clown that all he intends to do is take the existing wall and slap on a fresh coat of paint, a couple of solar panels, and his name. We'll be spending a fortune to do nothing more than rebrand the existing wall as a Trump property.
I wonder if he's going to consider it a Trump property and charge the government for using it after he's [del]impeached[/del] out of office
This is the Star Wars program of our time. move over, Ronald Reagan.
Next it should be semipermiable
Don't forget that Mexico needs to pay for it! (yeah I know it isn't getting payed by Mexico, and good on it for doing so)
Someone told him they need to show (financial) transparency when it comes to the wall, and this is what came out
trump is the dumbest president of all time so i guarantee that's what happened just look at this excerpt fron a trump interview:
JOHN DICKERSON: George W. Bush said the reason the Oval Office is round is there are no corners you can hide in. PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, there's truth to that. There is truth to that. There are certainly no corners. And you look, there's a certain openness. But there's nobody out there. You know, there is an openness, but I've never seen anybody out there actually, as you could imagine.

trump is the dumbest president of all time so i guarantee that's what happened just look at this excerpt fron a trump interview:
what does he even mean by "out there?" like outside the windows? "out there" in the oval office? out in the eldritch void between dimensions? god this interview is so bizarre
JOHN DICKERSON: So what's your-- PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Other people have come in. Big people from big companies have been to the White House 50 times. In one case, I won't say who, somebody you know very well, the head of a major major company. I said, "Have you been to the White House before?" "Yes, 51 times." I said, "Oh good, so you've been to the Oval Office." "No, I was never brought to the Oval Office." I said, "Come on, I'll bring you to the Oval Office." The person came into the Oval Office and started to cry. This is a tough person by the way. Came into the Oval Office and started to cry. Now, this-- a person with a magnificent office with beautiful glass walls and everything else. You understand. You've seen those offices before. But there is something very special about this space. JOHN DICKERSON: If somebody's going to behave like that in front of you in here, how do you know that people aren't always just telling you what you want to hear? PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: You mean, with the tears? Is it? JOHN DICKERSON: No, just, you know, they see the power of the White House and the Oval Office and they think, "Yes, Mr. President." Who tells you no? PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Oh, I think when it comes to the Oval Office, I think everybody means that. You know, when I have foreign leaders here, no matter what country, no matter how big. We had -- Chancellor Merkel. We had-- we have them all. They all come here. They still take notice at the Oval Office. JOHN DICKERSON: Right.

JOHN DICKERSON: What does that get you-- PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well-- JOHN DICKERSON: -- when you press the red button? PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: -- it gets you a Coke or gets you a Pepsi. One or the other, it'd have to be. Any other cola companies I should mention? Right? But it gets you something. But every time I press that, people-- JOHN DICKERSON: Worry you're-- PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: In fact I have fun with people. They'll be sitting down. I changed the-- the way it works. I'll have people sitting here. Used to be they never had chairs that anybody can remember in front of the desk. But I've always done it this way where I'm at the desk and I have people here.
this is like something from the fucking Eric Andre Show, there is no way this man is mentally sound
is he stalling to save his image and let the next president do away with the plan?
is he stalling to save his image and let the next president do away with the plan?
Bankrupt the country building the monument to his ego and let the next sucker deal with the fallout.
what does he even mean by "out there?" like outside the windows? "out there" in the oval office? out in the eldritch void between dimensions?
He most certainly meant outside on the White House lawn. 0:22
That interview actually wasn't too bad, until the 2:00 mark when he started to get loony.
Aside from him not understanding what a metaphor is.
He most certainly meant outside on the White House lawn. 0:22
I totally forgot about the medicare thing go figure he lied
Oh my fucking god no. In 4 years time I just know I'm going to be arguing on this very website with some complete retard who genuinely believes Trump *did* build his wall, it's just invisible.
Well do you notice any bad hombres?
Would a wall be cheaper than armed personnel, I wonder..
Would a wall be cheaper than armed personnel, I wonder..
i'd hire squads of Mexicans on the cheap to patrol their side of the border that way you divide them, give them an incentive to catch illegals, etc
Trump once again proves how absolutely delusional he is with his comments about the 'bad hombres'. This wall just keeps on changing as well. It's either 30-40 or 35-65 foot tall, with 10-15 feet underground to deter tunnelers, made of concrete reinforced with steel, "looks good on the American side" (whatever that means, not a great source on that), and now solar powered, semi-transparent and also fully patrolled in case of cocaine attack? If these hombres are capable of throwing 60 pound bags fully over a 30 foot wall, maybe you should add some kryptonite padding to it as well
