Having done psychedelics in the past, I'd say it's more of a your mind experiencing everything as new and interesting, instead of referring to past experiences to categorize what's currently happening. You can spend an hour staring at your own hand and the intricacies of your fingerprints, and then you discover you have another hand, and then you become aware of your tongue, or the clothes on your body. It's very weird and difficult to explain to someone who hasn't experienced a trip like that themselves.
Sounds hilarious as fuck though.
Sounds hilarious as fuck though.
it is, in a way, if it wasn't people wouldn't trip nearly as much as they do
I think it's the same for shrooms
Quite the opposite in my experience personally. I was really incoherent, clouded and couldn't think straight at all on shrooms Then again I did eat 4.2g over the course of like 6 hours
I get what people say about rediscovering things and making breakthroughs, but at the same time, it's just your brain thinking that it's doing those things whilst externally you look like a fool waving your hands around. I'm far from anti LSD, but it does kinda annoy me when people attribute spiritualism and deeper things onto it because that's how the chemical reactions made them feel.
LSD alone isn't enough to really change much I feel, it's what you make of that experience yourself. personally I feel like I've learned a lot from LSD and other drugs, not those wild theories, but how to approach social situations, tackling things which bothers me and my perspective of a lot of things. its so much easier to appreciate things after a psychedelic experience since you get caught up in the tiniest things you'd never think about while influenced, and this can transfer out into your sober life. taking acid is like changing your perspective, you start thinking out of the box. pretty far outside the box too. a lot of it makes no sense at all, even the entire experience might make no sense, but once you sober up and process the experience, you suddenly remember something that kinda made sense. drug assisted brainstorming taken to the extreme pretty much, a lot of it is gibberish but some good things pop up every now and then. aand that last part is why you need breaks. you need time to process these experiences as they're pretty heavy on your mind. if you don't give yourself enough time to process these trips you might start having difficulties separating whats real or not, or that's my impression. never been there myself but I have read stories.

LSD is really clear-headed, anxious less (unless you are in bad situation, you would feel bad anyway), logical and intellectual trip.
So, What there saying is that a baby has a single hive mind?
Oh no, what they are saying is that all babies operate under a single hive mind. [editline]12th April 2016[/editline] Also, it's not really known who (or what) is behind the hive mind, but among these babies you can find individuals who show greater cunning than other babies. These babies will ultimately grow to be leaders and strategists through fierce competition, known as the hive tyrants.
I've had this exact thought on mushrooms and LSD before, so that would make sense. Warning for those reading this thread who don't do drugs: they are seriously harmful and you should do your research before doing any drugs. I know people who are seriously fucked up from too much acid.
They are not inherently harmful, they have the potential to be harmful
I've taken both mushrooms and LSD, or what people call LSD nowadays.
What do you mean by this? Is acid different nowadays or something?
When this guy was arrested, 90% of LSD distribution was reduced, and supposedly most LSD out there now-a-days isn't as good/the same as what he was making. Whether or not that's true, LSD just isn't the same these days. Lots of copy-cats out there.
I can't even find the words to describe how pissed I am that this dude got 2 fucking life sentences for something so little as fucking acid. DEA are a bunch of fucking crooks, they need to just be disbanded all together.

I have often heard "but I thought LSD was extinct?" when LSD has been mentioned so it was definitely reduced for a long time, but I'm not sure if that applies nowadays. I've seen reports on acid that has been lab tested on reddit a few times and they tend to be rather pure, of course not 100% but it's definitely high purity, real LSD. there's also testkits which are widely used and people often report they got the real deal. not sure if you can somehow trick these testkits? I wouldn't assume so?
