Dang.
I can actually answer a portion of
Are you guys still paying attention to your other titles like TF2 or Portal 2? It seems like most of your dev attention has shifted over to DotA 2 and the Steambox.
For Portal 2, they kept it open to add more DLC. They didn't know if they were going to add more or not but they wanted to keep it an option for anyone at valve who wanted to do more for Portal 2. Though, there isn't any planned DLC for Portal 2, a group at valve might decide to work on a short DLC package or something and it would still come out. All has to do with the peoples interests at valve, if someone finds a nice idea for some new DLC, they would probably work on it.
*snip* I can't read
Haha you can tell Gabe doesn't really care that much for his internet following. I've noticed he's actually a pretty reserved, serious-minded guy in interviews and stuff.

That way you don't get insulted/spammed/be praised to every minute of the day

The notion that that's all their working on is silly and near sighted. For example, lots of the Portal 2 team has been working on a Portal based board game for 2 years now. There's lots of proof that Valve is working on a lot more than just Dota 2 and Steam Machines.
Got quoted, can't snip anymore lol I wouldn't say lots anymore, when I went to go play test it (the board game), it was fun, but last I heard from my contacts in Valve they aren't even working on it anymore. They have handed it off to some other company to finish it off.

At this point its fairly obvious that they are done with the actual game part and are about ready to ship it. My point however remains; Valve works on more products than just their public products.

Tomorrow I am going in to play test another game that most likely hasn't had any information out in the public.
