The US isn't a saint by a long shot but there are worse places in this world that have done worse things. [editline]12:22AM[/editline]
Cambodians don't act like they're the hot shit of the world though.
Really? Thats the bloody best you come up with? If Germany were the superpower, if Britain, if France, If any country, all of them would be as cocky as the Americans.
Well Doi! You don't think the Romans were douchy? The Spanish? The Portuguese? The British Empire? Being cocky comes with being the most powerful nation on the planet. Yeah its annoying but I'd rather have a bunch of people bitching about how great America is rather than using their power to snuff out the world.
I answered your question salami face, "yeah, so has every country, but what advanced nation in the last 60 years done as much shit as the US has?" USSR, China, North Korea, Cambodia, Yugoslavia - Serbia, the list goes on.
lol salami face and yeah they have, but what is your fucking point? they do bad things too so that somehow makes what the US does less evil? the US is supposed to SET THE EXAMPLE.
And yeah they have, but what is your fucking point? they do bad things too so that somehow makes what the US does less evil? the US is supposed to SET THE EXAMPLE.
We set examples of ignorance and stupidity, does that count?
I see neither side in this issue. On one hand, Don't Ask Don't Tell seems cruel because it calls for immediate discharge. On the other hand, it seems perfectly fine because...well, so long as you "Don't Tell," you're fine. Not like sexual orientation is relevant in the military. So much for "expressing yourself," when nobody gives a shit and expects orders to be carried out.
Thats not how it works. If you're found out to be gay, you'll be kicked out. Regardless of if you told anyone or not.
I have 10 deployments serving my country and I was once killed by an IED which blew off my leg and eye Beat that
TH89: US Army the video dosen't count baby ;D Anyway, I'm glad its getting repelled ,but the simple fact is (as stated before) it will always remain up in the ranks cause the idea of the military is not too act as,"I'm gay", "I'm straight","I'm Asexual" ,but too act as one big beating heart willing to take down a threat of your country. So in theory the rule will always still be there just gays can say it at their own risk of getting laughed at. I still stand on getting it repelled ,but yeah.

Christ, you gotta work on your sentences, and space comes after comma. But you're right. It will remain for generations considering the "christian values" that will remain with the current administration. Lets take a look at wikipedia. Those aren't exactly your friendly, democratic neighbourhood country you want to visit, with great human rights and living conditions. Below, we got the list of countries that allow homosexuals to serve in the military. Spain, Urugay, the Philippines, Peru, Colombia and Argentina recently (this decade) pulled their heads out of their asses and lifted the bans. Even Russia allows homosexuals. When will the US do the same?
South Korea is the only good country on the disallow list. [editline]07:14AM[/editline] Well Jamaica too maybe.
South Korea is the only good country on the disallow list. [editline]07:14AM[/editline] Well Jamaica too maybe.
Greece is okay, but what's the [1]?
Heterosexuals and homosexuals alike are allowed to engage in sexual activity while in the military service as long as it does not interfere with the performance of their duties. Might be taking it a bit far, but sounds like fun.
Greece is okay, but what's the [1]?
Yeah didn't see Greece there, they're okay too. Also the list of from Wikipedia, he [1] and [2] are citations that he didn't remove when he copied it.
Numbers in brackets are links to sources or related stories. [editline]11:21AM[/editline] At least, they were.
Huh. As for the 18-year-old infantryman, the second they use the "I have x deployments under my belt for my country" line you know they're worth less than the scum that bottom-feeders suck.
I think he was saying that he had been 18 years in the military, not that he was 18 years old.
