Most of their illicit income comes from on-selling and commission fees for getting their friends to buy a heroin from a certain dealer.

I frankly don't get why it is people could even enjoy getting a high if they know that in a matter of days their limbs are going to start literally melting away, even if they're dependent on heroin. I mean taking this stuff means they have less than a year of their wretched lives left. But maybe it's just one of those things you can't understand without experiencing (and that I will never experience).
