the 3 abrahamic books all adapt from ancient mythologies, but they each will communicate in different ways.
The actual Koran we have today was written about 50 years after Muhammad supposedly died. The order was given to create a new version, and to boil or burn the rest.

All I know is that لووووووووووووووول means loooooooool
The other part of the article about how Vodafone is educating and training women from highly traditional Muslim families to be sales agents is way more interesting. It goes on to say that not only does it generally lift their families out of poverty, the men in the community (who are initially adverse to any of this) change their entire cultural opinion because of it and realize that it's okay to teach women how to read and write and that's it's okay to to allow them to communicate with people because it helps society as a whole. This is the way to actually help lift their culture out of these repressive ways, not by putting up signs calling them savages and terrorists.
In the U.S., "reveals" and "admits" would be swapped.
Why those pictures? I would expect something like him reading a book or something, not having tea, watching something on 3d, or in a surgery/driving simulator.
Tbh seems kind of silly to me, more like a publicity stunt than anything.
Tbh seems kind of silly to me, more like a publicity stunt than anything.
If it was a publicity stunt he'd have revealed it himself when he started learning it. One doesn't learn AN ENTIRE LANGUAGE just so people will like you - indeed, you don't give the reason you're learning a language (that most people have negative connotations about) so you can read a holy book (that even more people have even more negative connotations about). If he wanted publicity he'd be learning one of the Gaelic languages or Cornish of Celtish or something like that. What does he have to gain by telling people this? He gets the ire of many people and the "oh how nice" from others.
Nothing wrong with learning a new language.
I'll be damned if I can remember a lot of Russian.
