You realize that a battery's purpose is to maintain voltage, right? If you want to generate 11,000 V using AAs you're gonna need a bit more than one.

My knowledge on circuits is a bit rusty, but if I recall correctly, AC can kill at lower voltages and currents because the human body acts as a capacitor.
