The reason it is illegal to have child porn, is because people feel that if there are no customers to warrent a market for child porn, then people will stop making it.

I agree with that too, but as it hasn't been directly diagnosed I don't feel as if he is an immanent threat. I'm more of an optimist and believe in human rights, assume people are good unless proven otherwise.
