Donated $25. I live roughly ten minutes from the tower. Currently it's really run down, lots of graffiti and such. It would be great to see it cleaned up and made into a museum.

Man when I read Tesla's life-story, I just feel so bad that his fellow human beings treated him like this.

YES! [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline] This is probably one of the best things to happen in over 100 years!
He sounded like a cool dude. Glad to see the Museum got funded.
holy fuck, already reached their goal, at this rate they wont even need the city's help no, at this rate they might be able to resume his experiments in wireless power for everyone
Someone donated 33 thousand dollars. The fuck?
If I could, I'd donate $850,000.
Someone donated 33 thousand dollars. The fuck?
Some people have that kind of money.
how the hell does this guy raise so much money so quickly
how the hell does this guy raise so much money so quickly
Very good causes.
That's amazing, I can't wait to tell my dad, he told me all about Nikola Tesla as a kid.
Donated. I hope this will help keep Tesla's legacy alive and raise awareness on his incredible accomplishments. It's the least we all can do to honor his memory after all the shit he was put through. You know how things would've been had he been able to continue his work? It would've been amazing. I'd dare say that we would be living in a much cleaner and more technologically advanced world.
If we're taking bets on who donated the $33,000 I'm going to go with Elon Musk.
Over $900,000, god damn. At this rate they'll have enough to fund a clone of Tesla
If we're taking bets on who donated the $33,000 I'm going to go with Elon Musk.
"FRAGMENTS FROM OLYMPUS-The Vision of Nikola Tesla" co-author+director, Joseph Sikorski was also one of the two, if the other's Musk.
"FRAGMENTS FROM OLYMPUS-The Vision of Nikola Tesla" co-author+director, Joseph Sikorski was also one of the two, if the other's Musk.
He was both of them; he donated $66,666.
still more than a month and a half to go this could end up exceeding a million. easily.
Score, it passed the necessary amount. I hope the museum turns out well
Edison > Tesla
Edison was a thunder cunt.
They just keep donating even when it's on 918,144 USD
They just keep donating even when it's on 918,144 USD
Ofcourse, the amount that they needed was just for buying the property. Rest is used on cleaning up the mess in there and if they got enough, it would be spent into building the museum in there.
This makes me a really happy person.
Holy balls, this guys is really good at raising money.
Someone donated 33 thousand dollars. The fuck?
not just one person
