Their use of words and underwhelming images make it seem bitter when it isn't.

Great to see something that shows Libya in a good light, shame people can still deny it though
The pictures are staged. Clues; 1. Exact same piece of paper is in two different photos, in two different peoples hands in English written by AMERICANS. 2. The man walking with the bottled water! Seriously where did a Libyan get a COLD bottled water from? But that isn't really the true issue at hand. Lets not destroy innocent Libyans over a failed Commander in Chief. Lets blame the people who failed the Commander in Chief, and perhaps if it turns out to be the fault of the CIC, then he should be impeached. An embassy should ALWAYS have a MARINE contingency unit stationed in it. 4 Marines with LIVE WEAPONS on a rotating 12 hr 2 man watch. 2 Marines could have held off hundreds of Libyan fighters, the other two would wake quickly to join the defense while a helicopter at the standby evacuates them all. Do to budget cutbacks, those Marines don't have jobs anymore. What you should be asking your SENATORS and PRESIDENT is; WHERE WERE THE MARINES? Who puts an Embassy in the Middle East, surrounded by trigger happy fanatical Muslims, without ANY protection? .
I don't even know what to say to this.
the "people" shouldve been beoble (arabs replace p with b and vice versa) :v:

2. The man walking with the bottled water! Seriously where did a Libyan get a COLD bottled water from?
I don't even know what to say to this.
Lmao Do they think all of Africa is rural Somalia
Both of them. But they are condemning the attack so their use of words is accurate.
That's not my point at all. There's a reason why this article worked better in representing the Libyans' hatred for the violance. I'm just saying the BBC article is feable.
I don't even know what to say to this.
One thing springs to mind. "How did you manage to type up this post without a functioning brain?"
Kind of wish they didn't evne have to do this in the first place, but it's nice regardless.
Holy jesus fucksauce in a jar don't you fucking start that. Can't we have a nice thread about religion without you or any of the other "religion is cancer" assholes shitting it up?
It's difficult when religion in itself is very offensively defensive.
BBC mentioned it but imo this should be bigger
There was a mention of it on NBC Nightly News last night as well.
Great to see something that shows Libya in a good light, shame people can still deny it though I don't even know what to say to this.
Hahaha, welcome to Conservative Americans.
D'aww. At-least some of them have good intentions, though often thwarted by retards going fully retarded.
That's insulting
These people, they are great, wholesome Muslims, they are the ones who read the holy book, and when they read the part with "Destroy everyone else alalalalalah!" They shrug it off and hold actual values to them. God bless these few people, and I really hope the violent monkies don't pounce the crowd with bombs and torches too soon. On another note - what we saw yesterday is another example of terrible leadership, the American government obviously doesn't care enough about our security to atleast have a relatively small group of security personell or not replace our troops with un-professional mercenaries, but I digress. We really need to vote these motherfuckers in office out.
This is awesome! Anyone else got any more pictures?
This is amazing. But the spelling nazi in me wants to change that "P" into a "B." But still, [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img].
R.I.P Vile rat
It is according to the Koran.
stop please. this is a positive and heart warming thread and you ruin it with this "gotta ruin the moment" bullshit. please just ACCEPT they apologize and don't question it.
It's spread to the UK In response to the Benghazi attack that caused four American diplomats as well as ten Libyan citizens to die, Discover Islam has distributed copies of the translated Qur’an and the biography of Prophet Muhammad throughout the UK with the intention of promoting a better understanding of Islam and Muslims, and clearing misconceptions.
Makes me feel warm inside everytime I see peaceful demonstrations like these, people just want to get along with each other and live in peace.
You've apparently never read a single word of the Koran.
do you mean znk666 made a kneejerk "GYS I HATE RELIGON" post with absolutely no grounding evidence or depth of thought? i find that kinda hard to believe, sorry
I know how to read Arabic but I don't understand any of them except the word "no"
Man, I can't find anything about this on any major news network.
it's almost as if the media narrative is actively promoting anti-islam sentiment
"pehavior"
And there you have the reason why Islamophobia is so widespread. Good stuff doesn't get emphasized, it doesn't sell.
Islamophobia is so widespread because everybody has come to associate terrorism with Islam because of the media and our governments, and nobody seems to be asking the Arabs why they're so fucking angry.
Islamophobia is so widespread because everybody has come to associate terrorism with Islam because of the media and our governments, and nobody seems to be asking the Arabs why they're so fucking angry.
Don't absolve Islam itself of at least some of the blame.
I know how to read Arabic but I don't understand any of them except the word "no"
I know how to read Arabic letters but I don't understand smack about the Arabic Language :v:
I know how to read Arabic letters but I don't understand smack about the Arabic Language :v:
I hate to say this But all I can see is a pattern of squiggles. I know jack shit about Arabic.
Pretty squiggles though.
In a year or two, you will be able to put these pictures into Google Translate and have the signs translated. They already have it working in Goggles for I think French or something
