This looks shopped. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
It's just a weather balloon.
^Martian swamp gas. Look at it this way, how could Arthur C. Clark know what a monolith looks like in the first place. How would he know that aliens would place one? Obviously he didn't. So the only logical explanation is that he was abducted and given this information so that people know what the monolith looks like.
Obviously they mean Arthur C. Clarke's book 2001: A Space Odyssey.
If I remember, that scene is only in the movie with the apes, but they find one on the moon, though.
Haha, awesome! :D Too bad we will never get the truth to know... :/ :frown:
Haha, awesome! :D Too bad we will never get the truth to know... :/ :frown:
We could send machines. EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean.

We should get it to Earth to take a closer look at it...
We should get it to Earth to take a closer look at it...
YES! :O Then replicate it and get fucked.
Please send something and investigate it closer...
Sending a probe to mars isn't like sticking a q-tip into your utherus.
I agree that there probably was life on Mars, but I reckon it was humans who lived on Mars originally & when they destroyed the planet they moved on to Earth! We are not the original inhabitants of Earth, dinosaurs were & we didn't exist on Earth at the same time as dinosaurs, so this is why I believe we came from another planet... I think we are the Aliens that took this planet over!
Mars history: -Planet's climate starts to topple -Poles stop generating magnetism -Planet no longer has an atmosphere -Sun rays rape the surface -Current state it is now.

I need to go finish Dead Space. I'm on like chapter 12 I think, near the end...
PLEASE CONSTRUCT MORE PYLONS :smug:
It's the entrance to a long-dead alien civilization's research outpost, clearly. Is the name Prothean already taken?
This better not turn out to be another fake/illusion. :argh:
/me touches.
We be going to jupiter? Instead of mars?
Humanity begins to colonise the Solar system using conventional sub-light spacecraft. Colonies are established on Mars, and on the moons of Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune. This is the extent of Humanity's domains until M15. Twelve Millenia later, the Dark Age of Technology begins.
