But then turns out doctors were wrong and his father wakes from coma
It's actually "dark humour" example, after ODing , I managed to go my counselling appointment and I was sitting there, well, succumbing to the stuff I took, and my Counselor had told me about it, a week later. I said to her, Well, I don't remember any of that, but on the good side, at least I didn't die in your office. She laughed, and said, "Darien you have such dark humour." lol.
HAHAHAH oh man so hilarious. Damn you got me.
What a dick. His father will wake up and find out that his son suicided, and it's his fault. Just imagine how bad he would feel.
RIP
Poor kid, his mother must be so depressed :saddowns:
That mother has a lot of spiritual healing to do. I can't even imagine what she's going through.

It's been two years since his death and he's still in a coma I think.

Omg.. just.. fucking leave.
Edit: Take a lesson from this story and go eat a gun barrel.
What the hell?
I'm sure that's not what the father would've wanted and he also left his mother alone to grief them both.
This is sad and at the same time enraging.
The poor soldier didn't realize his death only hurts the people around him.
And I didn't even get to say it to him. Fuck. :colbert:
What a sad Mother's Day.
With an big ass LMG no less.
Well, What's worse now is that even though the chances his father waking up are abyssmal, what happens if he does and finds out that his son killed himself because of hearing that he would never wake up? :smith:.
All the jokes in this thread are pissing me off.
There are also other possible factors such as bullying.
Now come on. The man was a 21 year old soldier. I seriously doubt "bullying" was a factor.
what if the dad woke up after he pulled the trigger that would be depressing

You know when an 05'er comes out of his shell to tell you to go die, that you fucked up HARD.
I'm sure they were extremely upsetting times for him, but I think suicide is just selfish. You end up hurting more people emotionally in the long run, like his mother who's left all alone now.
Idiot. I have no compassion what so ever for this guy.
I guess they couldn't Save Private Ryan
so sad... :smith:
What a bummer it would be if he actually woke up now.

It was mentioned in the article.
You're saying it's not possible for a 21 year old to be bullied?
What a bummer it would be if he actually woke up now.
For the soldier, at least.
Oh just watch, now he's gonna wake up out of fucking nowhere, just to make this whole mess more depressing.
