Nokia pushing to get instagram released to Windows Phone - #2InstaWithLove

The WP8 Store really needs instagram. How can I show off my filtered selfies and food pictures to my friends taken with my Nokia Lumia 920's great camera without Instagram? Even though I can just have my SkyDrive on my Android tablet and upload from there, it's a pain in the butt.

It has a crapton of apps already. O lot just show up later than Ios and android for obvious reasons.

Don't forget taking pictures of yourself eating the food and then after you finish eating and then your friends eating and finish it too.

It recently hit 150k apps, so it has quite a few. It has all the apps I need anyways...

I legit hope Windows Phone gets Instagram. That way, more people are willing to use it, thus more developers are willing to develop on it, and current apps will be fixed and improved.

Also, this seems kinda... unnecesary? The verge has a source that says MS is already working on an app, it only needs final approval from Instagram/Facebook for it to be released. Also, Instagram integrated with the WP8 lenses feature would be godlike.

Read that too, it seems like the app is complete but the only approval it needs is the API to post to instagram, something that they never give out to people but they should be willing to give it to MS/Nokia

if it doesnt come out for 7.5 people it'll be a kick in the nuts, but the 2instawithlove app came out for 7.5 so maybe it will

It may give me a reason to go to wp8 when my contract expires

The name Instagram carries. And if it makes more people invest in Lumias or other Nokia Win phones then it's probably for the better. It should take all the help it can

I was pretty split between wanting a Lumia or a SIII when i got a new phone, and one of the biggest things that weighed against Lumia was the lack of apps, mostly Spotify

WP8 phones easily have some of the best camera phones on the market IMO. Especially like the dedicated camera button that is required for all windows phones.

I've got a "cheaper" lumia 810 and I can do some awesome shots with the ProShot app, something no other phone I know of has. It basically unlocks the camera giving you DSLR-like capability, having full control over focus, ISO, shutter speed, burst, timelapse, exposure, white balance, etc.
